RETIRED Marlboro Outwit the West Funny Farm

228 92 October 16, 2010 at 01:35 PM
Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

You think I don't know??? I KNOW ! ! !

And did you notice, she wrote: "Should I use this card and use the next one for Ned?"

Not, "If you should be lucky enough to win another one for Ned" but rather "the next one."

You could always tell your sister go ahead and keep it, but I did already send Ned an email telling him I hope they are able to find something with the giftcard I gave to your mom for you....... ...balls back in her court.....lol
What a wonderfully mean idea. Dang, I wish I could do it. But I'm weak. Plus, I've never emailed one of them about getting a prize or gift card or anything else. I always give things to my sister and she gets to give things to her kids and grandkids. Even though they probably know that most of it is what I won, they're still getting it from her.

I've never given her anything and said "This is for X" or "This is for Y." It's always her decision. And yes, sometimes I've disagreed, but never told her. From the beginning it's been her choice because they're her kids and grandkids. This is the first time it's truly bitten me in the butt. But still, it's her son's family not getting the GC so that she can get another pair of shoes. And truly, I can't begrudge her the new footware. Does she need them? No. Does she want them? Yes. And she's had little enough in her life that she just wants and doesn't need, so I can live with this. I guess. But it always comes down to the same thing -- I HATE SHOES ! ! !

TY Blondee, just checked facebook and her momma posted she made it through first surgery fine but needs prayer for pain management. Poor thing I'm sure they can't give her much for pain as just a newborn. But she is doing well, wants to eat but they can't let her as of yet.. And momma wants to hold her and feed her so hopefully soon.
