Hi all,
I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.
So, I hope it catches on !
So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

Hopefully your trainer will give you good news about the mare. Definitely, try to low ball if your trainer gives the go ahead. It really is a buyers market on horses now with the economy. Someone who cares about their horse may very well accept a lower offer when they know the horse will have a good home that includes a caring, knowledgeble (sp) horsewoman.
I "won" a 4-can car care kit from them in mid March that never showed up. I do seem to remember someone winning who actually received the prize.

My time lately has been taken up by visits to veterinarians. First Miss Kitty, my 17 year old beauty, developed another urinary tract infection. Got that cleared up and then she started having breathing problems. My regular vet thought it was another polyp in one of her nasal passages but couldn't find anything on the x-ray. He sent me to a specialist who unfortunately diagnosed the problem – cancer of the larynx. I'm dosing her with steroids in hopes of reducing the size of the tumor, but haven't seen any improvement so it doesn't seem to be working.
I know – she's seventeen – but I expect my cats to live until the ripe old age of 20, plus this illness just showed up "out of the blue." No warnings, no slow development, it's just there. And yes, my heart is breaking, but I've lost cats before and I can deal with it. Eventually.
