I don't think it looks that bad on you either. Black would probably look really good. Unfortunately, if it shows your belly a little, it would look horrible on me.

I've been procrastinating, because I didn't want to waste my code by only using $10 off $30. There's not really anything else I want that's a great deal now, so I'm going to order. Hopefully, there will be another good general public code soon. I got some killer deals, with the last GP code.
thanks... but yeah i agree that it shows my tummy a bit (and you can see my belly button - very unattractive imo). there are better dresses out there!

i know what you mean - i've been holding onto my mailer also. i'm dumb and should have used it today in store on that sweater kurpee linked. then i could have used my $30 reward (using the rest of the reward on the maxi dress). Facepalm instead, i used a newer reward that expires in sept, while my $30 reward expires in august and remains unused. silly me!

Nerdi, I think that the dress looks fantastic on you! Also, I'm (surprisingly) a 0 in the express boatneck jeans. I'm like a 27 in jeans, so that was shocking. I don't know if I'll ever figure out the sizing at express.
it's not that surprising - you sound like you're about my size (only taller), and i'm sometimes a 0 in express also. it's always best to just try things on, or else read the reviews. i've found if ppl ever say a dress runs TTS to big, i'll be a XS in it. same with a shirt. as for number sizes, i think 2 is still the size i am the most at express, but sometimes a 0 fits better. i've also lost a little weight lately so that could be why i'm fitting into the smaller stuff more.

i fixed my rewards problem - ordered the kurpee sweater in orchid and used a 15 off 30 q. then added some clearance accessories to use the rest of the reward. hope i like the accessories!

I like flying out of LBG and ONT. I'd fly out of ONT more if I didn't have to fly out on those super duper small planes. Banged my head trying to put my bag overhead. And I am not remotely tall. shake head

And I kind of know what you mean. They showed the apartment complex I lived in and I nearly freaked out because he lived next door to me. So thankful that he did not go batshit then and/or I already graduated and it wasn't even him my last 1.5 years there. still, too close to home. hug
Yeah. Comfort Why are you flying on small planes?
Quote from nerdgirl :
i am xs in that dress, but i know i am also at least 2 sizes smaller up top. which one felt better on you? i think if the xs weren't too tight/uncomfortable up top, i'd go with that one - chances are it would stretch. i probably wouldn't stick that dress in the dryer after a wash anyway, so how would it shrink?

i like the print. i got that maxi in that print - that is the maxi i've been considering keeping. i'm not a big maxi wearer usually tho, which is why i had wanted to wear it travelling. apparently that's not a good idea. now, where would i wear it to? Scratchchin
The small feels better overall, mainly because it has enough fabric to drape at the bottom. It drags a little across my thighs in the XS. The XS feels fine up top- nice and tight which will help keep the strapless bra in position, but I could barely zip it up. In fact, I punched myself i the jaw in the dressing room laugh out loud I could feel it ache at the jaw pivot joints - me = prize fighter with myself Teehee

As for the maxi... road trips or any other travel day except flying? Dontknow I struggle with it too.

WOW, interesting that the world can be so small. When I lived in CO, I went to that mall all the time! The theater opened after I moved to FL.

My mother and soon to be stepfather go to the movies all the time there, my soon to be stepbrother saw batman that night and didnt go to that theater b/c his friend wanted to go to one that was near thier house.

I am not much of a movie-goer and wanted to see it here in CA. Now I am kinda nervous ... now there will be metal dectetors everywhere. Irnoically, Batman Begins was on last night on FX. I don't know where I am going with this, lol.

You know he wanted to get caught, and I dunno why someone would do that?
Glad your fam wasn't there hug . I don't think there will ever be a reason that would satisfy us. Sadwalk
Quote from GoHeels :
Going by the size chart for the strapless ruched tube dress, I couldn't wear an XS in the chest area. Do you think it's accurate? If any of you larger chested ladies (34D-DD, or above) tries an XS, please let us know how it fits.
. . .
See above post to Nerdi. Barely zips, but hey- it feels secure and if the SA is right, it will totally stretch look around

i think it actually looks good on you. the black bottom might be better. i thought the same thing about the xs - that it's hard to get in and out of - others found so too since there was a hole on the top and another on the bottom in the one i tried in the store laugh out loud so i decided to order the s online (i thought it looked decent when i tried in the store), but i lacked the curves on the bottom.
LMAO So glad I'm not the only one. My nightmare dressing room scenario came true last week. The SA went to grab another size of something else just when I was trying this dress on. I got stuck getting into it. Put my arm through the satin hanger loop part. Got it almost all the way on before realizing I couldn't move my arm. Then the SA comes back! EEK! Luckily she didn't try to open the door, I might have fallen out.

I think I'm not keen on the idea of this dress because it is just their bandage skirt with a belt and a top... I love that green again, but think I'll buy them separately so they can get more use. Oh and so I won't dislocate my shoulder putting it on. Wink2

this is me in that pleated surplice dress in XS. i think it makes me look super thin, but the beige shows so much that it's unflattering (like porda had mentioned). however, i think that's how the top should look - i had tried a S awhile back and the top was just very loose, not in a good way. oh well.
Thanks for the pic- very similar to how it looked on me. It looks good on you, but I don't think it looks great- I have a hard time thinking of anyone that kind of bottom would work on. Me thinks it will be in clearance sooner than later. I have some dressing room photos I should share too.

ID:	1378922 Express Boatneck Dress, size 2. It's in sepia so you can see the ruching detail of the dress. Lighting in my dressing rooms suck comparatively. I could try 0, but it was getting snug in the chest at this size so I don't think it would work. I like it, but I'm not in love with it. Need to try it in the other colors. (I spotted this on the "go-backs" rack outside my dressing room and tried it.)

doubt it'd work for you in the 0 - the most snug part for me was the chest/back area. thanks for the pic tho! i totally should have taken a pic of me in that dress in green. not sure why i only took a photo of the unflattering one... laugh out loud Crazy

ETA, this is with a strapless, but not the push-up strapless I would wear. I need to re-try the XS with the busty-er bra. When I knock myself out trying to get it on, then I'll know I need the bigger size laugh out loud

I flew on Horizon from ONT. I booked Alaska and didn't realize they had a partner out of ONT instead, which was a small propeller plane! OMG NEVER again!!
And OMG! Your short hair!! Smilie

LOVING the XS on you! It makes you look thinner and accentuates your waist!

I'm already regretting ordering the shoes I linked about. I shouldn't have listened to my DH. Facepalm Hopefully, I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I ordered another pair that I think I'll really like. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004H8EDGI/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00 These are definitely more my style. I hope they fit.

Thanks
I think they're both really cute, but they're soooooo tall! Faint In my search for the "perfect peeptoe" for bridezilla, DH almost convinced me to keep a 5" tall (2" platform) pair saying, "Don't worry, with those on, you won't be on your feet for long around me" Coverlaugh

OoOOoh yeah prop planes are a no go for me too EEK! On our honeymoon, you should have seen my face when I saw them open up a latch on the wing and put our ginormous suitcase inside. Shocking I was thinking, "hope I didn't over pack" Scratchhead

I forget that no one's seen it. Yep- I got my hair chopped off, about a foot of it. Hopefully there aren't too many grays in it. Luckily it wasn't as short as I thought it was going to be. Thanks for the compliments Blush I want to double check it with the other bra, entirely possible it won't zip at all laugh out loud
