Hi all,
I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.
So, I hope it catches on !

Your list is similar to the one that I had when I lost my previous cat to kidney failure. Add: watches people when they speak to her. It's not a guarantee of intelligence, but it does make a difference.
Moriah was "at least" 5yo and overweight when I brought her home. The older rescues are SO appreciative of a good home.
When my Grandmother died, we showed her home with one bedroom set (3 bedroom home), a couch with one end table and a light(the room needed a light), and a set of towels in each bathroom. Some people rent furniture for home, so leave no furniture at all. The big no no is no personal photos or clutter, or peeling paint, any signs of neglect.
It took 13 months to sell at about 15% less than the original asking price. There was an offer that was 25% less in the first 30 days, but their financing probably wouldn't have gone through. The Family feeling is that they would have been better off they had accepted the lower offer (maybe the financing would have gone through?), instead of paying for those months of utilities and upkeep.
Glad that you are home safely and that the weather is not too bad (so far). Hopefully, this is as bad as it gets.

and ask for a discount from the usual commission percentage
they are all hungry and will be eager to step all over each other to get a listing
interview at least 3 Realtors, in the process you will learn from them what to expect
they can't make commission if they don't sell it and they make nothing if they don't have a listing
if they say there are so many all fixed up places at the same or lower price they don't have your location
every house sells eventually
don't let them bully you
they are only sales people that sell houses, they are not anybody special
you have the real property to sell
