Fall 2012 new TV shows

The one new show that I really like (have only seen two new shows so far) is Major Crimes, they've really broken out of the old show and come up with fresh and very interesting story lines. Emily Owens M.D. looks really good (from the trailer) but doesn't air until Oct. 16.

The only shows that look remotely interesting IMHO, are Revolution (maybe, needs more than one episode to judge), Vegas (Mike Chiklis/Dennis Quaid).

Of the rest...Arrow (doesn't air until Oct.), 666 Park Avenue (maybe, interesting premise), Elementary (UK Sherlock ripoff), Last Resort (?), The Mindy Project. Yawn

Last Resort canceled supposedly due to ratings. Put it in the most difficult timeslot of the week and what do you expect. ABC isn't even bothering trying it in a different timeslot.

Some say the cancellation is a conspiracy since it was broadcasting to the mainstream lines like "false flag attack" and "You swore to defend The Constitution, not your country." The cancellation pretty much has to be a conspiracy because it was too good of a show to cancel otherwise.nod

Gave up on that show a couple weeks ago, couldn't get interested in it. Sadly the only thing I could find in the time slot to watch was reruns of ALF.

I've also lost interest in Revolution, decided I'd rather watch the shows on Sportsman channel.
Now that new episodes of Burn Notice are on at the same time, I've had to stop watching Elementary. I would continue watching if the 2 shows weren't on at the same time.

Well darn. I haven't had time to watch the two newest episodes yet, guess I won't bother now. I think the time slot combined with the slow start (after the pilot) is what killed it. Shame, by episode four it was really good.

Umm I'm pretty sure Private Practice was told they were coming back for one final season and that it was going to be a shortened 13 episodes. Shonda is ready to move on and spend more time on Scandal and they even trimmed back by not resigning Tim Daly. I'm not sure that's "cancel" material.
