the capsule landed 55 miles East of where Baumgartner landed.

I had no clue about when this picture was taken. It was posted in the comments on the official website just a few minutes before I posted it here. It has been trending on twitter most of the day.

Anyways, I don't care at what altitude the photo was taken it is an amazing picture.

Photo I just hope I get to see some of the 4k films in full resolution some day Bigeye I can't even wrap my head around how much they must have spent on cameras for this mission, let alone everything else Faint

My buddy works for the company that designed and built his space suit. The amount of work that had to go into designing a suit that could let a human being survive those conditions is pretty ridiculous.
