This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.
All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

It has come to our attention that an original intent of a manufacturer's coupon(s) has been compromised and it is being discussed on the slickdeals.net forums. Discussions of how to profit from a coupon mistake should not be discussed here. if you wish to discuss the coupon(s) mistake, please use another forum. Slickdeals.net does not condone discussions of how to perform, elude capture or profit from unethical and perhaps illegal activities. Any users caught creating multiple account(s) will be banned immediately, no exceptions!

Hmm, I saw another one that stumped me one day...FTFY maybe?
ETA:
"For example, if a qualified home buyer expected, notwithstanding the tax credit, federal income tax liability of $5,000 and had tax withholding of $4,000 for the year, then without the tax credit the taxpayer would owe the IRS $1,000 on April 15th. Suppose now that the taxpayer qualified for the $8,000 home buyer tax credit. As a result, the taxpayer would receive a check for $7,000 ($8,000 minus the $1,000 owed)."
I had to pay 350.00 in taxes, so I'll get 8,000 less 350.00. DM we must keep the fire lit under out tushes on this one

My sister paid $68k for her condo and got a check for $6,800 - it was a LOT of money for a single-mom-first-time-homebuyer. I will tell you the paperwork you have to fill out is a biatch.

There are several bills on the table now to extend the tax credit in different capacities, but there's no guarantee any of them will pass. I'm going to look at 3 on Monday and I will continue to search. Teri-search all the different realtor's listings in your area, don't just stick with your realtor's company. Also google "homes for sale by owner" and "mls listings" and look through those listings too.
..
(that's the best I could do for a "fire under our tush smilie")

Expires 1:30PM
I have a 10% baby registry completion cpn that expires tomorrow:
1) Has anyone ever used one of these past expiration?
2) Is it actually tied to a specific registry?
3) Can I put items like Kellogg's cereal on the registry for the 10% off?
I have to submit a Kellogg's $10 rebate form:
1) Do the UPCs that are sent in have to be the exact products on the receipt? For some reason, I thought no UPCs were required this time around and some of the products have been given away etc. but have plenty
Thanks! Hope everyone has a nice weekend
