This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Yes. 2 extra rooms and storage in back. I'd rather have a garage, but to get the area of town I want that I can afford has been impossible. This area is one of the most expensive because of the location.

dpags, thanks for the zillow info. Very interesting. They are selling for a good bit lower than they bought 4 years ago. Wonder why they would sell when the market is down and take a loss Scratchchin

Thanks Dia, it's not stone though. It's brick. Lots of brick in Charleston. In fact when WM built the new supercenter the city made them build it in brick. Can ya believe, a nice looking walmart laugh out loud

Wow, lots of stuff to think about.
Praying that you'll make the correct decision for yourself and that you are PLEASED with whatever decision you make 2 years down the road.

Couple of questions ladies:

I have a 10% baby registry completion cpn that expires tomorrow:

1) Has anyone ever used one of these past expiration?

2) Is it actually tied to a specific registry?

3) Can I put items like Kellogg's cereal on the registry for the 10% off?

I have to submit a Kellogg's $10 rebate form:

1) Do the UPCs that are sent in have to be the exact products on the receipt? For some reason, I thought no UPCs were required this time around and some of the products have been given away etc. but have plenty Whistling of qualifying products in the house. Would that be OK?

Thanks! Hope everyone has a nice weekend Smilie
Hey all. Am I on everyone's ignore list? Wink I have made a couple posts in the last day or so and I haven't gotten any responses. Sadwalk

I am only re-posting my questions because I am really hoping that someone knows the answers. This is not to be annoying because I know how easily things can get overlooked, especially when there is fighting or other drama going on laugh out loud

And yes, I used the Kleenex cpn at KM yesterday with no issues at all. Smilie

Thanks Grouphug

Sorry dude, I don't know. When I got my registry coupon in the mail, it was expired and my son hadn't even been born yet! So I never did get to use it Frown

One word. Desperation. Could be a job loss - or a job transfer. Could be pre-foreclosure. Could be a health issue. Could be a family issue. Who knows. Lots of reasons that people take losses when selling. Just make sure you get a good inspection to be sure there are no expensive or structural issues they're trying to rid themselves of. They are supposed to disclose any known defects, but the keyword here is "known", so always, buyer beware [yes, I used to sell real estate!].

Question to all my TCC friends.....

Don't want to sound like a beggar but does anyone have 2 extra Fangdango codes/tix they would be willing to part with today??? I didn't convert anything because I'm not typically a movie-goer but I'm thinking I want to see Fame - not sure why, I just do - and I'm sick about the movie prices right now ... anyone? Giant :hugs: and an envie of your choosing (if I got 'em)!! heart

Thanks pags hug Naca requires a home inspection first, and they require all repairs done before closing. They are pretty stringent with them. I'm on my way now to do the paperwork. I'll wait and see if they even accept my offer before I start freaking out about the rest EEK!

I don't have an ignore list - if someone starts getting stupid I just keep reading their dumbass posts for cheap laughs without responding. Sick, I know.

I was going to post the same thing as Sharon. Last year I got married and had a baby Wink , and all of my registry coupons were all expired or within a week of expiring so I did't use them either - and didn't try to use them. Sorry. hug

I have no idea about any of the registry stuff. I keep meaning to make one (Teehee in hopes of getting some TQs).

I'd imagine you'll be fine with the Kellogg's rebate. As long as you've got Nutrigrain UPCs for the Nutrigrain items on your receipt (or whatever) I'd be surprised if it mattered.

Thanks for the responses! I guess I am going to T today, asking them for one of those registry guns and I am going to try and add all my groceries etc. to my registry. I will see what happens. I am assuming that I should probably give the registry cpn last. Scratchhead

That is weird that your registry cpns arrived expired/almost expired. This cpn has been burning a hole in my cpn binder since May! I am just now getting around to using it since it expires today Frown

Thanks again Smilie

woot Yeah!! Sounds like you're in good hands!!! Pray for your transaction to go smoothly! My favorite night time t.v. viewing (right before I turn out the lights) is Property Virgin and whatever else is on whatever that channel is (I think it's HGTV). You see some interesting encounters on that show and it really opens your eyes to what could go wrong, even when everything else seems to be going right. Not to frighten you, it's usually just a temporary distraction - what would a tv show be without some interesting twists and turns? Most transactions go off without a hitch. Sorry - don't mean to ramble. I'm just really excited for you!!

Hey did you all see this about BOGO baby einstein movies at BRU/TRU?

https://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1577367

Apparently you can get 2 BE dvds for $4.99 after the store promos. This is before adding the $10/2 MQs and the 15% BRU single item cpn. I am definitely going to try this tomorrow and usually my BRU is great about stacking cpns. Unfortunately, it ends tomorrow as well.

Don't worry INAA: I still have plenty of these peelies for you! Big Grin
Hey Gator,

Thanks for the heads up.. looks like a good deal. I may have to stop by a BRU today.. I think I may have a peelie somewhereConfused

Can't help with the registry question.. they never sent me qs.. But, I would think if it is on your registry, it would work.. so, scan away and give it a try.

I went to my nephews wedding yesterday.. Had a blast, such a beautiful wedding. We left the reception after 9 pm and they were still going strong. Made me wonder why 20 years ago when I got married, it didn't seem like weddings were so much fun. we had the ceremony, brief reception, then left. Kinda makes me want another wedding ceremony that I can enjoy now that I am not so nervous or stressed.

As we were celebrating one part of the family, the other was strickened with sadness. My 23 year old neice lost her husband yesterday. He was killed in a head on car crash. So sad, they have a 2 year old baby. Life is so difficult sometimes.

Haven't been on any shopping runs in so long.. Doubtful I will make it to Target until next week with so much going on.. oh well, by then I am sure the deals thread will have a ton more complaining about the "update" and I will know exactly what to expect.Wink
