I'm still catching up otherwise. Haven't even been to T much lately, maybe because the store closest to me is full of asshats. The cashier demanded I give her all my coupons up front so she could check the items before scanning. Umm I had 8 coupons total, not some huge stack of 100 or something. Confused I bought all the marked down "school" packs of Bounty, had the $1 Bounty coupon. Anyways, I commented to another employee that coupons are like cash and they might find some customers getting very upset about the demands esp when it often leads to missed coupons/ lost coupons. I was told that Target cashiers are given lots of coupon training and besides, last month someone somewhere faked a TARGET coupon for a few hundred so they are being extra careful. What, harassing all customers because some jackass photoshopped a $300 coupon? Confused I was also told that if a coupon doesn't scan the first time, they don't have to attempt it again OR manually enter the numbers. First I've heard of this policy, anyone else?

My experience is that they are usually beepless the next day after they expire.. kinda like a 1 day garce period, but as always it is a YMMV with each one.

Thanks Gator for the TRU movie deal.. It was awesome.. I got 2 baby einstein movies we didn't have. There were no signs about the bogo or 10.00 deal, but only something about certain titles being 20% off. I was skeptical, but it worked. Also, found the 10.00 peelies on the moviesBig Grin After the cashier scanned them and they rang up bogo and the extra 10.00 came off, she handed me the coupon back and told me I didn't need it because it came off automatically. I asked if she could scan and tryWink worked like a charm. Got 2 movies and some of the tadoodles markers to eat the overage.. all for 2.00bounce
Side note: I HATE the markers. I thought I picked up the crayons, but got the markers instead. They made a horrible mess. They seemed to pour ink, and she kept picking them up wrong and marked all over her hands and clothes. Glad I didn't really pay for them!
Wish I had gotten in on this deal sooner.. great buy for the DVDs.


Still no target for me.. maybe monday!

Usual experience is that those beep the first day they are expired. Smilie I would say just try and see, if you're going to be there anyway.. but I wouldn't make a special trip to try if it's a sizeable drive.

So glad I read this today. I was on the fence about going to TRU since today was DS' bday party, but after I read this I made it a point to go there first. Got 6 BE movies and some books and a SB Cranium game to eat overage (had $5/$25, $3 TRU coupons and $4 Cranium too). That was fun! They didn't have Baby Neptune though (still can't find those 2 I bought at Kmart!)

Speaking of DS' bday...remember I said we got him Spike from the post Xmas toy clearance? DH went to put him together today...he is MISSING ALMOST HIS WHOLE BODY! Down

I went to my nephews wedding yesterday.. Had a blast, such a beautiful wedding. We left the reception after 9 pm and they were still going strong. So sorry about your niece's husband. We had a somber week last week...a student killed himself and a faculty member's 15 year old son died in an ATV accident. And my friend's 5 month old DS is going to need brain surgery to stop seizures he has been having since birth. Weeping

Had a crazy T run...she accidentally voided my entire order when we were 3/4 of the way through my coupons...I couldn't hide that I was upset (needed to hurry home to get ready for the bday party). She called over an LOD who proceeded to take my stack of coupons away with her...I was like wtf? but she came back with 2 of the $3 apology TQs for me...the rering messed some things up but it all worked out with the added $6 TQs. Finally got my Star Wars funtainer for $3.98! woot I saw TRU has Backyardigans ones, my youngest DS would love that but I will NEVER pay $17 for something like that! Nono

I was soooooooooo excited to see frozen Cheryl and Co. cookies that I couldn't help but buy 2 boxes of them ($5.99 each! EEK! ). This is a local cookie company and their cookies are so yummy! They are individually wrapped, you just thaw them and eat them.

I think we have some trigger happy peeps in here lately on the MA button, Gator. No biggie.

I forgot to mention that I found $1 peelies on Tostitos, $1/2 peelies for Snickers/M&Ms frozen treats on bags of Snickers/M&Ms, the $2 TQs on Lasting Impressions and Sense n Sprays (beeped though, I did buy a newer scent I think), and free mq and free TQ peelies for free warmer wyb 2 pack of scented oil refills.

I just posted my experiences with the baby registry coupon. Nothing exciting or important.

The hit on Tebow makes me sick to my stomach. Hopefully his concussion is minor. Thankfully there's a bye week coming up nod
