Soooo, did some shopping today. Two Targets after the final Royals home game of the season (we beat the Twins 4-1).
Got plenty of $2 light bulbs at both stores, along with other usual items.
All in all, not too bad.
And on the topic of why one would use a coupon without knowing about them --- I have often wondered about what a customer does when they are using a perfectly legit coupon like the current Alpo $1/3 cans MQ which beeps even when you purchase the 3 cans ... what the heck do they think? do? Just give up? Strange!
Side note - there are BOGO and B2G1 Pedigree coupons out there ... is the 23100 a Pedigree product they sell at Target? I don't want to bid on them if Target doesn't sell Pedigree. TIA Guys!
PS- I really hate not being able to rep the folks I want to rep .... "You must rep others before you can rep this person again" NOW you are out of Reps - NAH NAH NAH NAH NAH!

My friends DD's story is a strange one... she has always been singing/doing plays... 2 weeks before college started, another co-worker heard about auditions on TV for a brief second.. didnt hear the whole thing.. so we scoured the TV stations website.. she found it.. went. It was for the Broadway play Next to Normal. She didnt hear anything so she went off to school.. got another callback.. then I think a 3rd. FInally, they gave her the understudy job and they were doing the play in DC. Nothing guaranteed after that.. well it went to Broadway! They LOVED her. She found this awesome agent who keeps sending her on auditions just to get her out there CSI, Law& Order, etc. LOTS of them! Well she got the Gossip Girl gig but they liked her.. so who knows where that will go. But I wish her luck! She is 18, living in NYC in a FAB apartment and acting on Broadway!

Prob is that here(where we live in Wisconsin) is NOWHEREVILLE so it doesn't really matter that she has been in plays since she could toddle .. but who knows what the future holds eh??? We live in NOWHEREVILLE too! Seriously.. we are in rural CT.. not super rural but the odds of getting seen here in CT is like zilch... But then again, with the movies coming to CT, you never know!

and Kmart....during doubles I find too many problems. I prefer for the cashiers to not be so coupon oriented and watching the screen-KWIM?
And about the barcodes - DH made Hamburger Helper the other day and inside the box was a Q. So he asks if I want him to save it for me. I ask what it is for and he says $1 off wyb 3 of something or 1 of something (both hamburger helperish). To which I reply... Is the barcode 16000 - something, something, something - 76? He just stood there looking at me like I was rainman. I told him I'll take that as a yes, and to please cut it out for me. It's amazing how quickly your head becomes filled with random knowledge.
