BF - she's gorgeous! Initially I thought the edited pic was of nekky baby. Lemme tell you, I know worse have been posted in other lounge threads. Seriously, WTH is wrong with nursing a baby?! I have a video clip of LJ nursing and humming/moaning. He was too cute at all of 4 weeks making such a ruckus eating. I've shown family but I guess it isn't "sexy" enough for the likes of the internet.
Everyone but my dad is in bed. He's watching the series. Got a lot of stuff on my list done today. Just have to call about the baby's baptism. Oh and mom said her Jedi works tomorrow so we're going to ST. I wish I had some of the coupons that I ordered but Lawd knows I have enough tricks in my coupon box

I found an interesting tearpad at a gas station this evening. Its a free college team t-shirt wyb 15 Hersheys products (plus $3 s&h). Since I have a couple Reese's floating around, I just may surprise hubby with a Tarheels shirt!!

Seeing those Thomas coupons made me very nostalgic for the good ol' days. I may just throw it into a Glade run, just to try it out.

For the breast feeding - I wish I could find some of the sites I used to have that showed the history of BFing. It wasn't until more recently that BFing became a taboo thing. There are lots of photos with mom's openly and publicly bfing - in the middle of conversations, in public places, etc... and no one looks the least bit freaked out. Nowadays, just mentioning that you bf makes folks squirm. Do it while hiding your kid under a blanket, and you'll get some dirty looks and likely some comments. Do it for more than 6 months - oh my, you did something crazy and surely illegal. It amazes me that something soooo so sooo utterly natural and GOOOODDDD for an infant has become such a point of contention and hostility. I suspect it is partly due to the over-sexualization of our society. Its quite sad. I know folks who won't even consider bfing because they don't want to deal with the comments or attitudes. Sad.
Anyway, I better get off my soapbox and head to bed... I think I hear hubbby creeping down the steps to see what I'm up to! LOL!
I just got a call on my cell 10 min ago from DH who was upstairs.. DD (the non asthmatic thank GOD) is now sick and needing aspirin.. DS has the fever, vomitting, headache, sore throat, cough and chills.. and DD just has a fever, BAD headache and a yucky tummy.. she said a small sore throat.. Well I guess I would rather them get it now.. we leave for vaca in 39 days! So I have to call in the AM for both of them and thankfully DH is home so he will take them. I have a feeling no matter what I do, its going to spread to the 2 younger ones too. Just send your prayers for my younger DD as whenever she even gets a cold its a trip to the ER because of her asthma
