Totally agree with you, and every time a new mom asks me about breastfeeding I stress to her that you have to be committed, and there's no shame in NOT doing it. I can totally understand why mothers choose not to breastfeed because it can be a "hassle", it takes a lot of time, you have to either be willing to do it in public or always be home at "feeding time", etc. Plus, my firstborn had tongue tie, let me tell you, I have never felt such excruciating pain as that.

Being a mom is hard enough - I give kudos to anyone who IS one, whether they breastfeed or not. nod
