What about decent toys for Toys for Tots using the TQs? I don't think that Wii is a good choice or is Leapster or something like that, as if they are on the list to receive toys, they probably don't have the means to download games, etc.

What do you think? I bought some Trios when the Q was available (just a couple), but I really need some more toys for Toys for Tots (and it wouldn't be bad to use the TQs on them). Any suggestions are appreciated, as I'm just trying to help out others.

I remember my brother who is 10 yrs younger than me did this when he was a baby. OMG the horror!! He was all the way down the block towards a busy street when someone picked him up and brought him home - mom was mortified!

Renuzits - there are two purple flavors that have a matching barcode - all of the others did not match. Although I know that at least one of my stores did not carry the purple ones (violet something or other).

My tall bottle of Kikkoman has the longer barcode (just double checked) - maybe those little short bottles have the shorter barcode?

Sad story - woke up yesterday with a scratchy throat and a sore arm - I really didn't think anything of it since I've been doing some home improvement projects here and may have breathed in a bit of sandpaper dust ..... started feeling overly tired as the day went on and figured I was working myself too much. Woke up this morning with a freight train roaring through my head, stiff body, sore throat and runny nose. No fever though - so maybe just a cold - Why is this a sad story?? I don't have time for sickness!!!!!! Hope everyone else is starting to feel better!!!

lilB got a fever and kept getting sicker so I took him to the Dr and he tested positive for H1N1! =( Then I got it too, and now DD. It's been a horrible week! No shopping at all.
lilB has had two days now with no fever and today was the first day I didn't have a fever. But still going with the krunky junky coughing & feeling miserable.

I hope all you that have been sick are getting better and the non sick stay that way. That flu is horrible and I hope and pray we keep getting better and don't get pnemonia complications.

Gotta check the UPC's on the adjustables. Some are shorty's, some also didn't match. The 2pks matched last time, but the singles didn't match for me. No experience with the pearl scents.

Okay peeps, I need to have a stab at this Wii game deal. So the deal this week is buy2G1 as an automatic thing at checkout? Then there's a TQ? I'm not following it well since I haven't actually seen and ad, a game, a Q, etc.

No one says you actually HAVE to be preggers to do this. A pillow would work well. Just get to the counter and go into fake labor

*sigh* DH called and said he may have to go back to working nights. He wants to start putting away $$ into his 401K, and that's hard to do with the day shift income. He also said DD may need to quit her ballroom dancing volunteering. Lesson's are free, but the gas is killing our budget. On top of that, he asked if I could do with less in the grocery budget!!! I guess we're having a budget meeting tonite! I am going to have to be really careful from now on with sales and couponing. Even more than I usually am. I suspect that if I do it right we could do okay with $150 a month for the household - it's just a bit scary - kwim? I should probably make up some cheap menus and see what I can stretch it for!

I think it is sheer luck that you have the right qualifications. You never know what survey pool they are looking for. Plus, you should apply for as many as possible. I got in on the Fisher Price toys HP and it was amazing! I haven't applied for one in a while but I am sure the competition has only gotten more fierce for spots, now that it is widely known about.

Yes, you get a 10% off coupon to use on the rest of the registry items. I got one before I was due and I think I had 3 months after his DD to use it. I used it on the 2nd to last day and you can use it on multiple runs on THAT day only and then it comes up expired. But, you can add things to the registry the day you use the coupon and you might be surprised what is considered "baby."
I have NOT heard of the Listerine deal...I always stayed away from the listerine at T b/c of the beeps but will have to read the deals thread to see what I'm missing... Not looking forward to reading it since the toys cpns surfaced.

Oh, and if anyone is interested. I contacted my school this morning and was told I HAD to stick with externship Job #1. There was no issue w/ professionalism etc. If I chose to rescind it and did w/o telling the school, I would've received a failing grade for it and wouldn't have been able to graduate in may. That is exactly what happened to me! Then felt even worse the next day & fever set in, a few days I didn't feel like I could move. Hopefully we all make a full recovery but that swine flu will kick yar arse! Hope you don't have the swine flu and feel better soon.
