This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Givenchy, and MAC mostly Smilie Make-up is one thing I do splurge on, because I wear so little, and when I do wear it, I want it to look good. I have a hard time finding drugstore products that actually work for me, so I just gave up.

Of course, with the eye infection, anything that came into contact with my eye has to be sterilized or thrown away. I'm going to contact Givenchy and Mac tomorrow and see if they can do anything. I doubt it, but what can it hurt. I do have my order slips, so I should be good.
do you have to throw everything out? did your foundation come in contact with your eye? can you just replace the applicators/brushes for the shadows and scrape off a layer if you have too laugh out loud mascara definitely chunk.

We will have to discuss makeup one day! I am far from a snob, but I was able to visit a Spehora a long time ago and they really helped me out. I'd love to talk to a master woot

Foundation is okay to keep, as is my concealer, lip products, blush, etc. Anything that came in contact with my eyes as far as makeup has to be tossed (shadow, liner, the primer and mascara). The opthomolgist said that the bacteria can be harbored and can reinfect my eye at a later time. The mascara is definitely a chunk. The tools (my brushes and my curler) can be sterlized. The brushes can be placed in barbacide for a few days and he said stick the curler in the dishwasher.

I'm not chunking it yet though until I call Sephora's customer service. I'm not holding out that they will be able to help me, but we shall see. I hope so, but if not, not much I can do.

I'm wearing my stupid glasses now, I gave up and took my other contact out. I need to work on the computer tonight for a PTO thing @ DD's school, so I have no choice.

Let me tell you though, a little 2.5 ml bottle of medicine is high! Thank gosh for generic! The other one is a standard and it was still high, but sheesh it was 5mls and just about the same price!

Took the baby to her first Dr. apt today and walked next door to Publix when we were done to do a little peelie searching. Found the Oreida b2g1 blinkie. Very nice. Hope everyone in the FL panhandle stays safe and dry.

I'm not a brand snob-just a quality snob laugh out loud I LOVE Rimmel mascara and the new Cover Girl in the big orange tube as much as my previously beloved Clinique. I also love Bare Escentuals makeup, Chanel lipsticks, Sephora, Smashbox, etc. Makeup is like art and I've always loved painting, etc. Just creating something new every day Smilie DD is inheriting my love of makeup. She's all over the Victoria Secret lip glosses that taste like candy laugh out loud

Finally got 2 Kelloggs checks tonight! One had my last name butchered, so that explains why it didn't show up in the tracking thing. But 2 were showing up in the tracker, which means I definitely have 1 more on the way and 2 more out in limbo somewhere! Anyone know anything about the Dell codes? I'm wondering if they stack with each other and/or with other discounts?

So as for the MH coffee deal, it's buy 3 of the big plastic jug ones and get a $5 gc. They are $5.99 each.
And on a separate note, Stove Top stuffing is 79.

Found the mouse gc's at a store that didn't have them last week, so keep an eye out if your store doesn't have them yet. And found the gingerbread candle refills, which made me happy b/c I actually think they smell yummy!

I agree. Especially in November! I am flying up to Tallahassee tomorrow for a conference (friggin' flight is at 7am...have to leave my house at 4:45am! vomit). I'm sure I'll be feeling every wind change in the plane (turbulence anyone?) - especially since I am flying in a 19 seater plane. Not looking forward to this trip. shake head

Hope you will be ok and not flooded out. hug Will be thinking of you!

Thanks, hun. hug Yeah, I'm hoping the flight won't be too bad. DH tells me to bring a paper bag just in case! Coverlaugh And, to add insult to injury, the conference is being held in the crappiest hotel in town. Annoyed I will not be enjoying myself! laugh out loud

Thanks, Teri! hug Yeah, puddle jumpers are the worst!! I haven't been in one since probably about 12 years ago - flying from Phoenix to Denver. We had some major turbulence then, and there was not a storm in sight. I will be back on Friday. I'll miss my DD!! Frown
