They charge automatically $10 per person per day.. so for our 7 day cruise, we would pay $420 in tips. Thats for the room stewards and ALL the waitstaff. So for us, its $60 a day. Yes, it adds up I know but they do a phenominal job!

Oh - so they automatically charge gratuity? Do you have to pay additional tips on top of that? Do you have to pay for anything else while on the cruise? (Food/Drinks/etc?) Or is that included in the ticket prices you have already paid? LOL You can tell I am curious! I really hope you have a marvelous time!!

Yes, gratuity is automatically charged. No additional tips for anything. Everything else is included except soda and liquor. But Carnival is good about 1 bottle of wine per person over 21 and you can bring soda too. They have juice in the AM and milk.. and then iced tea and lemonade free the rest of the day.

We're doing great. Thanks for checking on us. My sister is off today so she is going to come and pick up DS and I and take us to T and to lunch. I have a mini run planned because we're going to my closest tar-ghetto that isn't super Q friendly. But it's better than nothing. I'm really just excited to get out of the house. Smilie I have my follow up c-sec apt tomorrow so I should get cleared to drive then. Not that I have anywhere I need to go, but it sucks not having the option.
