was in km this morning...will post more about my run from hell later but at checkout, there was a pamphlet about signing up for a km rewards card...called shopyourway.

anyways it is like a shoppers card that gets scanned before checkout and it gives you 1% back but the best part is that it doubles up to $2 Whee

until the end of the year! woot

what happens when you have a gc in your order and then the whole order gets voided?

The Little Mermaid was (and still is) one of our favorite Disney Movies. When DD was young, she would play Ariel in the bathtub, pretending to be a Mermaid. She would arch her back and come up out of the water singing:

i thought that GC were non refundable? i tried to "return" the entire order once, after they wouldnt take some qs....they told me my GC was not refundable... is there a number on the back of the card that you can check the balance at? HTH

Hope you get all good answers!! and quickly!!! I hate waiting for test results.

I really hate MRI's. Never thought I was claustophobic until I found myself in one of those contraptions.

Not exactly... its a special rate and no name chances.. cruises arent something you can just sell on ebay. Doesnt work like that.. And I have 8months worth of savings (per Suze Orman!) and I did my unemployment and we are still ahead of our monthly bills. I am not worried.. we will be okay financially.. thankfully I have been planning ahead for the past year.

Been cruising for years.. the on board credit can be used on ANYTHING.. and anything left at the end comes back in the form of a check Smilie We just got another $20 this am thanks to another price drop. On the first day of the cruise, the tips are automatically added to your bill for everyone.. and then the 2nd day any onboard credit you have will get added to your account.. The only one that is tough on onboard credit is Royal Caribbean.. if you dont use it all, you lose it! Carnival gives you a check on the day you get off!

I am running out, but check out the front page from 2 or 3 days ago. I found a few peoples posts that had really worked it out.
Basically, if you can buy 7 of the $4 games, or 1 of the $9.99 and 4 of the $4 games to get to the $25 for the GC.
Make sure you don't buy any of the Disney or Character ones if you are doing the rebate though (except Memory, you can buy any of the memory for the rebate)
Sorry, if you need me to explain more later, I will. Just have to run.

Glad I didn't get UP yesterday since its only $13 on BF.

Yeah - not a nice surprise when we went up for DH's grandfather's funeral - and the one we went to had weird cashiers. I was hoping for some nice shoes for the youngest dd w/overage - had to actually pay for them.

And I agree. They just don't get it. You can explain it til you turn purple and sprout horns, you can walk them through the deals by hand, you can write it out with the math and everything. And they still walk away thinking you are nuts. And then go spend in a week (or less) what you spend for a month of groceries... and complain about how broke they are...

Wow... I think I need to get myself to a KM.

I think the gc is auto-voided. I don't think it finalizes until you've paid, and even then, if they do a post void the card is voided. While the stores have a policy of no returns on gc, it's not because it *can't* be done, but it's because of abuse/misuse.
