This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

I want to be sitting in my new home, having warm cinnamon rolls and hot coffee, watching my family have fun as they all unwrap their gifts, in their pj's all warm and comfy. I want to enjoy it all. Every minute of it. And that's all I really want.
And that's exactly whatcher gonna get, my friend!

Yes, but are you a sucker at Christmas? That's the real question!

Hey it's the gift that keeps on giving (for a few minutes, anyway)!

Quote from .teri. :
Mostly, I enjoy celebrating the true meaning of Christmas and knowing that without HIM, there would be no cause for celebration.
Now, now, I can't take all the credit--but I appreciate your devotion.

Hmm, is that ^^^^ sacreligious?

Agnosticism, FTW!!!

was in km this morning...will post more about my run from hell later but at checkout, there was a pamphlet about signing up for a km rewards card...called shopyourway.

anyways it is like a shoppers card that gets scanned before checkout and it gives you 1% back but the best part is that it doubles up to $2 Whee

until the end of the year! woot

what happens when you have a gc in your order and then the whole order gets voided?
I noticed the screen last time I got a GC. As I paid and the screen started moving I noticed "gift card activated" and then the receipt has a special place for it on the bottom that has an activation number. I only get that after the payment is processed, so
I doubt those GC's were activated.shake head
Sorry about your sucky run hug

Whats up with the UP TQ? I might have used the wrong one. I bought UP and printed the $10 off coupon and then it beeped. I looked and realized it was for UP and Monsters Inc.

We make cinnamon rolls & good english tea & juice for wee ones. We have for YEARS!!!!! It is a tradition we are sticking with .... and sticks with us & our fingers LOL Sounds like WONDERFUL wishes for a LOVELY holiday!!! I am wishing you that and so much more!!! Here is to a wonderful HEALTHY HAPPY year full of love & joy!!!! HUGS HUGS HUGS

Quote from .teri. :
I've never really wanted gifts for myself at Christmas. I just love the warmth of the day, the family time. The cinnamon rolls, the huge dinner, the nap afterwards and seeing all the little ones running around with their new toys and candy canes hanging out of their mouths. I'm a sucker for Christmas! Mostly, I enjoy celebrating the true meaning of Christmas and knowing that without HIM, there would be no cause for celebration.
I so so so agree! I never want prezzies for myself - well not entirely true I would like to get stuff to repair stuff in the house ... but that is because I want it to be nice for everyone who lives here. However - the BEST part of Christmas is everyone being together and the huge dinner and the fun of eating it together and laughter and then taking a walk in the snow/cold & coming back and playing games ... snuggles and hugs and excitement! I agree that is what makes Christmas the best!!!

Quote from Thrifteh :
Whew what a morning! Mom and dad took me and LJ to HyVee for breakfast. They were serving vets free breakfast buffet today. LJ made it to when we found a tabke then decided he wanted to be fussy. We played pass the baby around the table so everyone could eat.

BILs unloaded half of the moving truck yesterday and will finish up today. Is it bad that all I am concerned about is my color laserjet and a $100 Visa GC stuck in a random box? Teehee
Sorry that he was fussy - maybe he just wanted to be loved by EVERYONE! Hee hee - hope you find your printer & visa card!!! HUGS HUGS HUGS

Quote from meeshecat :
That sounds like my kids, trust me they all have 30 plus items on their Christmas list and my basement (the one room) looks like a toy warehouse LMAO I need to buy some wrapping paper and am hoping to do so at Walgreens this week as I bought those darn meter coupons LMAO LMAO Your daughter sounds like me but I definitely don't have any blond in my hair.. my hair is mid back length now and curly but SUPER thick thus the bun works the best when in a rush LOL Then I have to shop for my parents, my younger brother and my inlaws.. LOL We also do alot of donations for battered womens shelters and such for the holiday season FUN FUN!! LMAO
Yeah we will be doing Toys for Tots & the Angel Wish Tree as well - but yeah it becomes a lot. They will not be getting everything they ask for - but they will get some. Smilie LOL about the hair - I think when she is older my oldest dd will wear it in a bun .... but at the moment she still straightens it every day! LOL

MOFO - Shhhhhhhhhhhh don't get me all excited I can't get to Target right now! Besides the fact that my stores STILL don't have the Monster Inc 4 disc according to the inventory tracker!

IANAA - Embrace it - Enjoy it - Just do something with it - Rofl - Have you heard of Mitch Fatel? Have you heard his joke about the consolation price? Hee Hee Hee
