This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

It is amazing how much convenience has become a part of the birthing process now. . . .
Next time (God willing), I'll do more research and find a better doctor/hospital. Can't seem to convince hubby that it'd be fun to do a home delivery... laugh out loud
Iagree about the convenience thing. And the rest of that. . .yikes! I'm so glad that our hospital here has a thriving mid-wife practice. I told them that I wanted a drug-free labor/birth and so there was not even any question about it after that (unless I had specifically asked for something).

Thought about home birth. . . but yeah, DH was not down with that. He just barely was able to "look." laugh out loud

Wave

Hope everyone on this thread is having a better day than yesterday. Keeping you all in my thoughts Grouphug

I was planning on going to T today but I think I will just recon w/ a small run. Will post with any updates Wink

So, I went to a local grocery store to ask if I could have the USA Weekend section from the Sunday papers and they told me to come back Monday morning. So yesterday I went and they told I could always have all the inserts on Monday if I wanted! Yahoo! Never even thought to ask my neighborhood grocer for them. Awesome.

Anyways, I have (3) of the Hasbro card game BOGO cpns for RAOK if anyone is looking for them.

QQ, PMing you. Smilie

Does anyone have the bf ad? I can't find where I downloaded it - or know what it's named? Oh... I hope its not on hubby's puter!!

I'm basically wondering if the mixer they have for 199 is the same as the one at wm for 139 - if so, gonna have to tell my sister to pm (or just go to wm) - she's been wanting one!

yeah an emergency I am ok with...but just doing it because the dr can plan for it and KNOW when it is gonna happen is not ok with me! That is just not how it is supposed to work! Plus if I have one section it becomes a pattern where i may not be allowed to have another vaginal birth esp up here, most of the hospitals have banned v-bacs....

It is ok though, I am trying to go from anger to acceptance. I am going to just know all the facts and I guess pray they both decide to help me out and be head down..i am gonna send head down thoughts daily for the next 5 mos lol...if not, i will learn to be ok with the c-section...i guess there really isnt another choice...

Thank you!

Search is not my friend! It hates me!! What did you search under??? I looked at "bf target" bf target pdf" "black friday target", etc... every combo I could think of!

*oh good grief - I see it's named "bullseye" - guess I should've figured that out.

ETA:

The mixer is in THIS week's ad. *sigh* I'm getting myself confused.

Hey all! I had a tearpad of Qs sort of fall into my purse, and I want to RAOK some of the Glad coupons. Its $1/2 ANY Glad products, and pictured are the trash bags at Target currently priced at 2.99. Expiration date is 3/31/2010. I have 10, and will split them into 2 groups.

Just want to spread some love and cheer. Smilie

Wowza, they get to decide if you have surgery?

As Liz Lemon would say, "That's a deal-breaker!"

Hmmph!

Having been present for both types of delivery (DW was able to do a VBAC after two sections thanks to an awesome OB), I gotta say...I was much more unnerved by the scene I witnessed when I made the mistake of looking back at DW (on the south end of the drape) while they were doing DS #1's apgar.

EEK!

TCCers, I posted this in the deals thread, but I'll throw it in over heah too since I know most of you like to avoid that clusterfark...

Do you like to shop at that 'other' big box retailer---you know, the one with the blue name sign? Do you think you might like to check out what kind of earth-shattering bargains they might have the day after Turkey Day?

Ah, la, peanut butter sandwiches!!!

Alright, my crappy day got crappier. First, I had the dead Zhu Zhu. Then I had a horrible teacher conference regarding my son "the tortured genius" Roll Eyes (Sarcastic), then I'm late to pick up DD from her preschool so I'm speeding and BAM-$130 ticket from a state trooper. As soon as I saw the amount I thought to myself *do you know how many freaking coupons I'll have to use to make that up??? Faint

FARK!!!!!! Head Bang

INAA, thanks for the ad.....after today's ticket I'll be resigned to shopping at the evil WM for my cheap crap Sadwalk

Dove milk chocolate, in the seasonal Christmas 9.5 oz package, are made in a dedicated facility. NO peanuts, no tree nuts.

Thought I would share this.

Out of habit, I walked down the seasonal candy aisle and read the backs of each package. I knew that Dove normally had a warning, and the Dove dark chocolate still does. No warning on the milk chocolate so I called Mars to confirm. As of this season, the milk chocolate will be in a dedicated facility. Older packaging will have been made in the previous facility so will carry the warning. Look for the green Martha Stewart/ Christmas pack. Good because I was tired of Hershey Kisses.

Wow - that is awesome. We (praise God) don't have nut allergies, but I know that for many folks it can be a life and death situation!

You're welcome! If you haven't tried them, the Cadbury milk chocolate sugar shells (also Christmas items) are pretty tasty. Peanut and tree nut free. I missed M&Ms (and actually, these taste better laugh out loud).
