I find good buys on denim and they sometimes carry size 4 shoes. I love the shoe rack there because its hard to find my size, especially at a discount.

I think being loud and brash gives the appearance of confidence and self-esteem. This attracts people that want these qualities for themselves and hope that by associating with that person, they will gain some self-esteem and confidence themselves....or they're total scaredy cats and seek out confident loud people for protection

I think certain Stores have better quality things. The one in ny had all these fashionable nice styles. I was like wtf , its nothing like my jcp. For the price, jcp isn't bad. Much more affordable than some other ridiculous dept stores.
I think so too. sometimes tho, i admire the thick skin some people have-not letting others affect their behavior.

its true. i go to a lot of malls.. DBF and I are very inseparable. He actually encourages me to shop because it makes me happy. It didn't even frustrate him until this December. When he tells me point blank he's tired of it, then it must've been bad. I think one week we went to Glendale galleria 2x, Arcadia 2x... even I was tired of it.

DBF's family is mainly in Arcadia. We meet friends there + Alhambra/SGV. I live in the heart of LA and DBF is a music fanatic who loves going to hollywood.. and i am close to ALL the freeways so there are so many opportunities to go shop at so many places. Also VS and Express are withing walking distance so I can literally go there every day during my lunch break! luckily, i'm not a fan of Express and as for VS... i only go there for my freebies or a must have gwp.. or the SAS.

Once I'm done with all my returns/rebuys, I will be good starting Feb.

My friends were talking about NY Resolutions and to really stick to something, it might help to write it down on a list and post it somewhere to remind you. Also helps if someone keeps you in check

i hear you. i go back and forth like this too. i can stand in a store calculating and calculating and contemplating if it will be a better deal later...or i forgo it and it goes oos and then i get nonbuyers remorse... i think so long that the next thing you know an hr has passed.

DH thinks i'm on sd too much. he gets jealous sometimes, when we're chatting or watching tv together and i take out my phone to see what y'all are up to. that's why i'm not on at night as much. he also has to remind me that sometimes i need to let a good deal go.

i got a few from dermstore of the emu. i think i'm done with it after the first bottle, just on the basis of the smell. i should maybe try to look where the other ones are, and give it another try. i tried selling them on ebay but the manufacturer made ebay take the listing down on the grounds of authenticity. i guess they just want to monopolize.

I've definitely noticed that some people associate being obnoxious with being yourself and being confident. I wouldn't mind it if it didn't also equal hurting someone's feelings.

I don't exactly have thick skin. I'm hurt when someone insults me and if it's someone I know and think a lot of it really bothers me but I learned to get over it.

I call it justifying being a jerk. We can justify anything, if we try hard enough. That doesn't make it right. I hate it when people say, "I tell it like it is regardless of who it hurts. That's just how I roll." I want to tell them they need to start rolling in a different direction. People's feelings matter. Loud mouthed & opinionated people may be surrounded by others, but very few genuinely like them. They just talk about them behind their back.
