ok, that's a great packing blog and i do try to do that when i pack also. it's a lot easier when you pack for summer than for winter, that's for sure.

but i just have to say, i cringed when i saw her nasty old tennis shoes on her white bed! vomit sorry, but i just can't get over that. i mean, i wouldn't put ANY of the shoes on any surface other than the tile floor of my entryway. but somehow the sneakers got to me the most, prob bc they look the most worn. but obviously a seasoned traveler wouldn't bring brand new shoes on a trip so all those shoes must be worn, which i think is gross.

You all are making me want to watch that movie. I had never heard of it before. I think I'll have DH get takeout from the better sushi restaurant & watch it tomorrow night. (I say better, because we don't have any great sushi places around here. shake head)

I was wondering the same thing. I think I'll order it anyway. There are only 2 things in clearance that I want at the moment, & I keep procrastinating on those.

blame your mirror! i noticed that my downstairs bathroom mirror makes me look fatter than my closet door mirror or my upstairs bathroom mirror. i take my self-portraits for you guys in that mirror bc it's the bathroom with the least clutter, but i don't think i look my best.

aside from "fat" and "skinny" mirrors, i get what you mean with your warped sense of self. it takes a long time to look at yourself in a different way, and it definitely is in your head.

SF is a 5-6 hour drive, and SD is 1-2 hrs depending on who you talk to. SD is probably only about an hour away from disneyland, depending on traffic. it's a nice drive too (a lot of it is along the coast, not that you're scant of ocean views where you are Coverlaugh).

yes, calling is efficient, but we all hate it.

i hope the dress fits! i never did try it... i don't think i ever saw it in store.

laugh out loud my arms are always in pain after a trip to the mall bc i'm always carrying so much express stuff! the bags cut into my arm. i will need to control my stash soon so i can be free from the returns clutter! i think i'm going to return the BF ones in store since i didn't get points for them originally and i never bothered to call about them. everything else i may just send back... it takes forever and a day to get returns processed at my store (esp the BF ones... ugh) so i will probably not get them all done kuz it'll probably take an hour.

Definitely harder when packing for the cold. I, too, can't imagine putting dirty shoes in the house, much less on the bed. shake head

It's a wonderful movie! I hope you will enjoy it as well!

I'm pretty far from San Diego - about 2.5 hour drive in average traffic.
As for San Francisco, that's like 7 or 8 hours away, so definitely not possible for me.

Hope it works out when you come out here!
