I might have to remind you to walk in backwards.

thanks icey! you encouraged me to haul my big box o' returns to the store. i'll need an appliance dolly
I have cleaned up some of the bickering ...in the past these things have gotten out of control and threads locked. I would appreciate it if you all learned to nip it in the bud before that happens...ignore is a very nice feature that allows all of us to be in the same space even if we don't always agree or get along.
Thanks,
Schooby

the non-lace ones are cheaper and more wearable, but i got my lace for $28 :cry ing:
I like the 21 + to dine places. The one at Seattle is just like that. Seating is still like stadium seating, but just separated more for them to come up and serve. :n od: Those are neat theatres!
Let me know about the movies and how you like them once you get around to watching them!
Theaters like that are very nice for special occasions. They're expensive for a regular movie night though. Then again, we think all theaters are too expensive to go often. If there weren't so many options for watching them later, we'd probably go to the theater more. We don't mind waiting.
I wanted to tell you I wore the dark purple pants yesterday the way Nerdi mentioned them- with a neutral "nude" colored top and nude heels. My MIL had these pants at Thanksgiving and after I saw how she wore them, I loved it. Try a pair! I'm looking at 1 pair of pastels for spring/summer too.
Your outfit sounds nice. Which pants are you buying for Spring?
And this? [express.com]
i see some tops that i like. :facepal m: as if i didn't already have enough tops...

You've got to tell us krusty!
The same gloves were $40 at sports authority (with no free tote), so I found a deal in a very unlikely place. It's only fitting that I found exactly what I needed at VS
So happy!!!
I grew up in an area with no Asians at all. (BTW, if that term offends any of you, let me know. I don't know what else to use.) I love learning about the culture from the girls here. Actually, we had very little diversity, which is typical in small towns. I enjoy learning about everyone's culture.

I'm the same way. I put on one of the Express rolled sleeve slub tees to wear to the doctor, but decided it wasn't appropriate. I ended up wearing a top that didn't show any cleavage.

It's amazing to be surrounded by a diverse crowd in your formative years. We all joked around and were self-deprecating about our cultures/stereotypes. That helped me learn a lot about what others viewed in their own culture as their strengths and vulnerabilities. Family interactions/expectations were so interesting too! I kind of feel like my friends got the short end of the learning stick- the only knowledge gleaned from my contribution was that Jerry Springer/soap opera families do exist
...
Pants - don't know yet. Already have a white pair. Maybe pastel mint or the brighter coral. I could also just go ivory - not very daring, but it's different from jeans so it is daring for me! I've been looking at J's Everyday Fashions and she wears bright pants alot. Sometimes to play them down, she just wears an even brighter top - but I don't know if that's our style
I think it got worse for me since I haven't been working out
anyways i now have the blue peplum dress. i tried both the 2 and the 4. i think the 2 did look better if i wasn't planning to move
also exchanged this top [express.com] from xs to s. the xs did work but it doesn't look flowy and will be easy to outgrow.
bought hibiscus
also found that shoes i missed before... $10 now!
tried on the zebra sweaterdress in xs and it fits ok. i think i'd wait for more patterns they'll come out with.
Oh... and a random little girl (10-11is) complimented me on my crackle moto jacket in the restaurant. I guess my style appeals to little girls

Not really, no. This was well controlled and nipped at 3 posts deep. I think the admonishment was obligatory. What kind of shopping have you been up to? Is your baby girl's closet loaded up with the latest in infant fashion?
Also, porda, that shirt looked so awesome on you!! I'm pretty much a jeans girl myself (who has recently gotten into leggings), so I commend your risk-taking.
I stopped by express really quickly today to do a return. I should have tried on that shirt. I noticed my express had it in leather, which was ridiculously hot...that may also be something I need to try on
