I finally caught the Venetian Teal herringbone in a 4. One of you had better not have snatched it up, before I ordered it. Nono1

He's lucky then. I remember it starting at $5 and the by your 7th it was $250 plus the boot. My parents would have taken my car and dropped me off on campus if I would have done that.
We should do that. Admittedly, we're both too easy on him. We can get really mad at him, then soon forget about it. I'm sure his dad will give him a talking to. He'll probably give in by next week though. shake head Honestly, it's our fault. We created this monster. Embarrassment If only we could have a do-over & make him be more responsible for his actions. If he doesn't grow up soon, he's going to have a rough life ahead of him. Dad & Mom won't always be there to bail him out. We'll eventually have to let him support himself. The good news is we'll have a lot more money, when we quit bleeding money to pay for his mistakes & support him.

I remember my mother flipping out for just a $5 ticket because she read the handbook and knew how fast they went up. Does he work or just take classes?

Ladies, do yourself a favor & raise your DS's to be very responsible. Our DS just came home with $340 worth of parking tickets he's accumulated at his GF's school. We already had to pay over $100 worth of tolls he just drove on by going to visit her. My DH is going to have a stroke. shake head

I never have figured out their schedule for posting rewards. It seems they post more often than once monthly, but I don't know exactly when.
Wow, your DS is extremely lucky that they didn't lock his wheel. I saw a pic a friend took of a car with a fake parking permit on campus and the tickets on its windshield and it was around $150 and they locked it and all with a huge thing that said "do not attempt to unlock/move." Hopefully your DS learned from that.

I'm not sure what's going on with Express' points either. I just checked again and I'm up to 5K Dontknow I would like more rewards though Big Grin

Did anyone report on the upcoming GWP?

March 26-31
Free Umbrella with $65 purchase

It is VS Pink & Black with Victoria's Secret written in Hot Pink. Very cute. You cannot tell from the way the model is holding it if it is a stick or compact. Last time VS offered the umbrella, there were two different ones: stick in-store & compact online (or vice versa). It was in with my Birthday card mailer. Of course, no coupon necessary.

For the past two years, there has been a GWP Tote with $75 purchase when I was on my B-day vaca. Still waiting to seev if that pops up this year.
thx for the HU. I have been waiting all year for the umbrella!!!! heart

He's lucky they didn't put a lock on his wheel. They did that at Alabama once you got a certain amount. Plus at Alabama the amount go up each time you get one.

wow, how many tickets is $340 worth? I once saw a neighbor down the street with his wheel locked. I think after a certain amt of tickets + the wheel locked, they also tow your car. If you don't redeem it in a week they usually auction it off too.

at alabama when i went maybe 5 or 6. they have to be super strict on college campuses because of limited space. we couldn't drive to class if we lived on campus. we had to stay parked at the dorm lot and walk. i think the ticket monsters stop working after 5 or 6 pm so you could drive at night which was nice because walking in the dark is creepy.

A 30 would be too small for me for sure. I have too much back fat for that. Embarrassment It looks like there are a lot of 32Es to look through. Have you returned anything there? I try to avoid buying & returning, but it would be worth it if they have a customer friendly return policy. I'm going to look for codes. Hopefully, I can find one somewhere.
I have tried a few things in a 30 band that I found on ASOS, but didn't keep anything. I think I could have gotten away with it. I am very lean through the ribs, so even when something is too tight I don't get significant bulging, it's just uncomfortable. I haven't returned anything to figleaves yet. I actually just received my first order today. I am very excited so much stuff fit. It sounds like they have a good return policy, return anything (with a few reasonable exceptions) within 34 days of the ship date. I placed another order today, so I'm hoping it arrives in time to ship everything back together. I ordered a few bikinis, hopefully I can have at least one more that fits well for my upcoming trip.

i just called express next and had them add some in-store purchases. they told me they'd do it this time but they normally don't add any that are older than 30 days. i didn't know about this! some of my receipts were from january.

they also mentioned the 3 or more transactions not posting to acct. she actually said 'if you know you've made 3 or more transactions, you can call us after 3-5 days to get it added to your account... we're currently working on this issue'. i feel like that is such an inconvenience! i don't have the time to call them every time i have some points missing! Annoyed

Thanks Smilie Kudos to you- you're the one that got us started on the peplum train Cool Seriously- this thread must generate a lot of sales on things we ordinarily wouldn't consider!

thanks for the peplum answers, ladies. i had to use the miraculous bra with mine because i really looked straight in it even in the peplum portion laugh out loud i guess it's a little big on me. the xs might be tight though especially at the waist. i'll see if i can make it look better with a belt. i really like this peplum top, may be the only one i have liked.

porda - that is not side boob. you won't have to check yourself from the side to see side boob Teehee
laugh out loud OK, good to know. Guess I'll have to Google-image side boob TongueETA - you asked about hair dryer storage, I found something at Container Store! THIS [containerstore.com] holds my hair dryer, barrel down. The cord gets stuffed into the other end. One side is wider than the other.

This is on that brand new car you just bought him too. I can't believe he had the balls to say crap to you about your outfit, when all along he had this parking ticket he just hands over to you. No respect there. If he's got an "allowance" for expenditures at college (so he can focus on school and not worry about money for a movie or dinner here and there) - my DH's family would have no reaction at all.. hand it back to him and just shrug - saying, "well, if that's how you want to spend your discretionary money - then so be it. You're not getting any extra. You're also not getting another car if anything happens to this one.". DH's family is crazy, but I have always admired their approach to parenting and the self-reliance it created. Not only will mom and dad not always be there to bail him out, it will be hard to find a partner in life that wants to shoulder the burden of his irresponsibility and seeming ungratefulness. SMH. If you want grandkids ... Whip /rant

Another Container Store find - Earrings accordion-style holder. [containerstore.com] $16 I can't fit my larger hoops on it, but it gets all the smaller earrings out of hiding and folds closed. It opened up a lot of pockets on my hanging organizer. Smilie

He isn't working right not, but he'd like to. He had a car accident & injured his back. At the time, he was working at Michael's unloading trucks & stocking shelves. He tried to keep working for awhile, but his back kept getting worse. He has a couple herniated discs he had therapy on, but they still haven't completely healed. After the problems I have with my back, we're not taking any chances with his.

I don't know how many tickets he got. That's for dad to deal with. Teehee He just said they totaled $340.

He didn't get a brand new car. It's just new to him. There's no way we'd buy him a brand new car as irresponsible as he is. We just wanted a car we knew would be dependable. I'm the first to admit we should be harder on him. Unfortunately, we're both too easy going. It would be nice, if one of us balanced the other. He isn't allowed to cuss in our house or talk back to me. We also don't yell here. He knows better than to yell at either of us. Other than that, he's always gotten away with a lot & he knows it. Like I said, we could really use a do-over on that one. Stick Out Tongue

I think the girls were right about the reason he fusses about the way I dress & fix my hair. I overheard his GF tell him that he shouldn't say things like that to me. That I looked beautiful. She was being kind. Wink He said, "Don't say that. That's my mom." I pretended to not hear them. It doesn't really matter what he thinks, & he knows it. That doesn't mean I don't get annoyed, when he has to comment on how I look. Annoyed He didn't start doing that, until I lost weight. I'm hoping he'll grow out of it & quit caring.

their systems are messed up -- maybe you're getting some backfill of missing points, or they're making up for the dress bonus points you didn't get?

or perhaps their systems are crossed and you're getting others' points?

either way, don't complain! bonus points are great! this never happens to me...

I had the Express window open on the Venetian Teal Herringbone jacket in size 4. When I refreshed it, it changed to size 2 & is showing available. http://www.express.com/herringbon...index.pro# For curiosity, I searched for it using keywords & looked under size 2 in clearance. It doesn't come up either way. Confused

I called about the dress points issue. They sent me an email of what shows up on their side and it's correct. So porda's correct and it seems like some calculations don't show on our side, but shows up on theirs. I'm supposed to have a giant 4K deduction of points too which would set me back, so I'm hoping they don't issue me the reward(s) and then put me in the negative once they fix things like you said the person said they were working on Dontknow

I admit I have only purchase a few hundred dollars the past 2 years, since ds, vs a couple grand a yr. :/ vs

I need to go to the container store since we have been moving this week. Interesting that we moved to a " bigger" house but the layout is so different that a lot of furniture has to go!
