Porda, I agree with azn. That sounds like a cruel way to get rid of her. It sounds like it's really over for him. Is he dating someone else? When something like this happens, there's usually another person involved. If not, they may have a chance at getting back together. For your sake, I hope so.

Well, I sure hope things get sorted out with both your brothers. I think it seems older brother just needs to grow up. I mean, MUST he move in with her? Maybe he's afraid of being free to do whatever he wants and doesn't need to answer to anyone - yet. I actually love that DBF and I live so far away. I don't feel like I always need to tell him I'm going out in advance. Sometimes I really forget and I just quickly mention it to him, vice versa and that feels nice
Anyway, I hope he sorts his feelings out with therapy. Maybe that will help him deal with the larger issue that is plaguing him - tendency to push people away because of some other issue.

Thanks. Well, she just asked if he could see himself EVER moving in with her. No timeline or anything, just if he could even envision that next step. He basically lives at her house a few days a week and she at his apt (complete w/ Target futon that has a "PUT A RUBBER ON IT" sticker on the arm
I totally get the feeling of 'having to answer to someone' b/c I feel that difference when DH is away for work or at home. "Oh yeah, it's 8pm and I haven't eaten dinner yet, which means DH hasn't eaten yet and he's probably wondering where I am"

the matching skirt was similar but in 'teal herringbone'. it IS teal colored, but it's a herringbone so it looks very dark.
