vs got back to me and refunded the shipping on the first (non-bo part of) order. so now i've gotten both shipping fees refunded.

i'm anticipating an issue if i return the items tho. Frown

what sizes did you order?
hehe you must be getting a lot of bonus points too then. Smilie

i'm worried the skirt is short, and that it fits large like the welt pocket skirt.
2 and 4. black, stone, black/white print and black/white floral. my worry is that neither size work.

You mentioned not wanting to go back on the pill, there is OT-lo with a lower dose of hormones that might keep the fluctuations to a minimum. Also- along with what Alvs said about retinol cream. That stuff is totally grown up pimple cream! laugh out loud I've used 3 diff retinol creams lately and no matter how creamy they are, they don't break me out and in fact, attack anything threatening to make an appearance. The Ole Sheer transformation is fine most of the time for me tho and if you think the sheer is too greasy, then I suggest trying the green night gel instead. It's lighter and seeps in like the serum.
i used both the night gel and the sheer transformation. then i started breaking out. so i stopped and just tried the serum by itself with my regular moisturizer, and the results were better.

i have super duper sensitive skin and often if it's not breakouts it's clogs or irritation. i get them all. Blink i was fine with the retinol cream for a long time and i thought it was helping, but at some point i think the hormones > retinol cream. laugh out loud i have no issue with creamy moisturizers since my skin runs dry, but i do seem to be getting clogs that turn into pimples on my chin, and i've been using the same moisturizers as before when i didn't get clogs. shake head it's baffling!

i've been on otc-lo. it made me craaaaazy. it's a shame artificial pills help so much with your skin... if only it would do that naturally... i think to achieve that i'd have to move back to a humid climate! :cries: it's not the high dose of hormones i'm avoiding, but the artificial nature of it altogether. thanks for the suggestion tho! hug

I wore black undies too! I need to buy a nude vstring. I don't have any nude ones cause I never had a problem with black shake head

I don't know why they lined the top but not the bottom shake head

are any of the other ones lined? i know my blue is lined up top but i don't think the bottom is lined. i don't think express lined any of their white ponte knit anything. it doesn't seem to be as see-thru in other styles tho, oddly enough.

you probably can (it'll depend on the SA of course, but most of the time when i return something they ask if i want to exchange it for something else), but once you do an exchange it will be difficult to get your original money back (say if you wanted to return the new one later on for a refund). i usually just buy with a new tier.

Thanksss, nerdicus. I'll give it a try. I bought the dress during tick tock + tier Big Grin may be hard to replicate the deal again since I have to pay for shipping again.

Don't we all? TeeheeI got your sweet PM hug I'll respond later when I get back from the pit. Was only supposed to be out here one day and now it's been threeeeeee.

Chairbash shake head

This retinol cream discussion caught my attention, does it really work for hormonal/stress/adult acne? I seriously need to get some of this stuff. I'm still using prescription strength acne cream and it's okay, but I need preventative measures. I was thinking about going on accutane once I have insurance again. It worked wonders for DBF and my brother is going through with his second round of treatments.

So is this Ole Sheer Transformation kind of like a retinol cream? It seems to just be some anti-again stuff.

About skirts, I got this high waisted flare one [express.com] back a while ago for $35. I still feel that I paid too much, but by the time I got it and loved it, all the small sizes were OOS in black so I didn't think it was worth a mention. It's a beautiful skirt and not really "mini" to me by any means. Well made too! Great in combination with the high neck blouson cami top.

I think so. I went to return a dress in store and they kept trying to get me to exchange it. They said it can be an even exchange and they will match the same price I paid. Definitely give it a try. I don't see why not.

No, I don't think any of them are lined except for the top. It's not really see-through that much. I bet it's probably my black boyshorts that made me go EEK! It wasn't even THAT bad, just...not all white. I think the boyshorts added to that factor? I didn't try it on with a v-string.

I think they were around $20 with the $15 off $60 tier. The new one should make the price a little better. The $15 off $30 code with a filler would be nice if you haven't used it.

if it was during tick tock, i would suggest exchanging it without receipt. "i got it as a gift" and give them a different card/phone # to look it up.

i think it does. i used to break occasionally but it's really helped. i rarely get break outs now. the skinceuticals is great. start with the .5 use it. if your skin is irritated wait for the redness to go away and then start back. your skin will get use to it. then work your way up to the 1%. i also love skin medica's aha/bha and the vivite is a good glycolic acid cream. the sheer transformation is just a moisturizer.

i can not take any bc. i have some weird antibody in my blood that increase my risk of strokes on bc.

Awww... haha yeah. Hormones are caraaaazay. I admire trying to avoid them. nod If your problems were more than breakouts (hairloss, bone density, hot flashes, etc.) then your doctor might have you reconsider. Still, you may reconsider this avoidance when you hit menopause. I went through a pre-mature version of it and whooooammaaagawwd it is awful. For your skin, have you tried the Clarisonic? That thing is pretty amazing. Feels like it resets my skin when it's not behaving (if that makes any sense). I use that with Purity in the shower.

Big Grin That's OK... I always think No too but then change my mind to Ok Ok Ok

About retinol - I've been lucky to never have needed a Rx for acne meds. I honestly can't believe they still prescribe Accutane. That stuff is horrible and IMO, they should only prescribe that to men since they regenerate their baby-making contribution. As women, what eggs we have are all we've got and I don't want to know what Accutane does to them that you need a monthly blood test to prove you're not pregnant b/c the drug is so bad it makes "flipper babies" for lack of a better term. Each pack comes with a diagram illustrating the birth defects that would happen if you were pregnant on it, I remember it was each blister in the pack had a pic of it! There are a lot of other options out there that are probably safer. I remember a college roomy of mine had something you had to keep refrigerated. Metrogel? Something like that. My brother switched to that too. Please look at the other options. /steps off soapbox

I'm not saying either the Sheer Transformation or the Night Gel have retinoic acid/vitamin a/retinol . I don't know, just that the Night Gel has some kind of acid in it (it burned in an area of broken skin). It's hard to figure out what is in his products!
I use the ROC copy cat retinol cream from Rite Aid, also I just got one from Puritan's Pride. [puritan.com]

I still need to try the coral/white/black flare skirt. Online exclusive, bleh.

Sheer transformation has fruit acids for exfoliation. Probably why my skin likes it so much though.
