Edit: I guess I acted too slow. OOS. I didn't need another sweater anyway
i think it's kinda cute with oversized polka dots. really like the nude color.
hope for a storewide sale! tho i seem to rack up so many points that i can probably just haphazardly spend my rewards...
I was going to ask if you put the moleskin on the shoes, but saw you answered that below. That's a great idea! I never thought to do that.
Yeah, I use belts for definition. I end up pulling at some of them, but it doesn't bother me enough to not wear one.
...
That peplum top looks great on you. I wish they fit me that well w/o being altered.
I'll have to look at my moleskin, but I thinks it's Dr. Scholl's too.
Thanks, I think that's the best fitting one- it doesn't pull on the chesticles hardly at all!
It's pretty though. That color is for someone with darker skin.
Mother's Day Gift Card Deal for Vons/Pavillions shoppers - $10 Voucher for $50 purchase of select GCs from EXPRESS, Sephora, Panera Bread, AMC Theaters, AppleBee's and a few others. (No Amazon)
Stipulations - GC's must be $25 value or above, you can only do this once per transaction. I'm not sure if you can use more than 1 voucher in a transaction... I did a back to back transaction today to generate and use it before I lose it. My store's ad says the promo runs until 5/14. That's a lot of trips I can make for free groceries. I'm thinking the EXPRESS GC's will be the most useful for me

I remember when DH and I bought the new car in Feb. 2012, I had accompanied my sister when she bought her car, so I had gotten a look at how negotiating works... I went on SD to do research, and online, and most things said to be as specific as possible, go to a showroom to find out what you want, and don't sign in, just get a packet of info on the car or cars you want... then go online and email each dealership within 50 miles that sells the car. This is similar to what I sent them when I was buying (may have been more detailed, let me check my emails)
Looking to buy in the next week, a New Honda Fit Sport 2012 automatic transmission, any color except white or black, with the following upgrades: cargo tray, all season floor mats, rear bumper applique, wheel locks, body side molding, door edge guards. Am looking for the best price out the door price including all taxes, and fees.
I would have put splash guards/mud flaps but the car didn't have that option.
I received responses from 5 dealerships, 2 of them asked me to call in (ridiculous, I didn't want to talk, I wanted your best price)
1 of them was FABULOUS, they gave me an itemized list of what each thing would cost and they were priced low too
The BEST PRICE person FORGOT to include my upgrades in his pricing ($1000+ worth), after sitting at the dealership for 3 hours, and polite back and forth, the manager honored the price.
THEN, I signed a contract with the following clause "Pending husband approval, and honda finance loan approval at 1.9%
Next, called all the dealerships personally, told them what I was getting, were they willing to beat it.
The place where my sister purchased, offered to reduce it by $300 and throw in 3 oil changes, but they repeated, it would only be to make quota sales, they wouldn't be making any money on it
I went back the next day with DH to the first dealership, they matched the price and threw in the oil changes. WHAT A HUGE HEADACHE! But I wanted to get it over with and have the headache then, than worry about not getting the best price..
My price ended up being $19.3k after everything... taxes and fees were over $1,500 of that.. You can view the inventory of most car dealerships online and see if the model you want sells quickly or if it just sits there. Not alot of people where I lived before were interested in a small little car, and I got the copper/orange color I wanted at the first dealership, since they were the only ones that had it. As far as when you sign everything and buy the car, good idea to do the signing at 11am or so, so at high noon, best to spot imperfections, scratches, since once you leave, that car's yours. Worst part of the whole process was dealing with the finance manager, I know it's their job, but he was RUDE, trying to get me to buy an extended warranty, gap coverage, acting like I was dumb when I kept saying No, and Yes, I do know what that is, and No, I don't want it.
I did go to the one dealership that participated in Costco pricing, and while it was competitive, they throw in unnecessary upgrades and charge you for them and put them as an 'Add-On' to the Costco price... I didn't need pinstripes, especially at that price, thx. I just used that pricing as a reference..
and the standard floor mats that came with the car, I sold on CL for $40 since I didn't need them.. The guy who bought them was military, and was so happy to find them at lower than $100..
