There is that dress in a size 0. Tried the 2 on in-store and the top bunched out more. Ordered it before the sale because I couldn't find the 0 and wanted to try it. I'm not sure. It's cute but not my favorite either. I need to go steam it and try it again. It just came out of the box. I think I like it better without the belt too. Got to decide if I want to reorder with the sale and coupon.
The second one is passable, but only because the outfit is nice... would look better with a statement necklace I would think... the nail polish is a nice enough pop of color, maybe a bracelet (a new VS bracelet
Also, I just got this email

apparently vs thinks my bday moved from june to may.
Or scarves... Which I don't know how to style.
I wonder if you'll get something in June as well!
I'm going to Belgium in May for business, and when I studied abroad in Vienna, I made a friend who is now living in Belgium. I will be staying with her for about 5 nights, which is super generous. She was a good friend of mine in Vienna (even took me to her house in Hungary), and we keep in touch. Since she's opening up her house to me, I want to go with a gift. What are some things in America that are desirable?
A friend of mine from France comes back to the US and always always ALWAYS buys a bunch of Coach from the outlets because it is just so expensive there.
Things I was considering.
1) A coach wallet from the outlet? (probably about $75)
2) A Minnesota Twins t-shirt (possibly VS)? What's more MN/American than baseball, and t-shirts are always usable.
3) some sort of scarf? maybe coach?
So, I have a few questions...
1) How much do you think I should spend on a host gift?
2) Are there any other little food items that are unique to the US that people from Europe like?
3) Do any of those gift items sound good? I like the wallet idea, but I don't want it to be like...overkill...but the outlet has a lot of nice things, and I'm pretty sure I could find something.

I agree with the 2...it bunched out more, and i also like with belt better... I felt like i couldn't get the ruffle to sit very nicely... didn't think about steaming it though!!

I don't like taffy either...yuck
I ended up ordering her this dress http://www.express.com/clothing/s.../cat550001 & this one for me http://www.express.com/clothing/c.../cat550001 with my birthday code. My DS chose the color for her. I thought the Aztec print would be cute for her age, but he said to get that one. It's probably a good thing. If I end up reordering her an XS, I'll wear the salmon one. If I was younger, I would definitely get the Aztec print though.
Traditionally the bride wears red. I looked it up today and you're actually not supposed to wear red, black, or white. : lol: they said prints are the best... Which is why I'm considering the twice-worn dress. But I've never worn the black or red one and I know she won't care.. She'll think I'm crazy for considering tradition at all.
Is the first one too casual? : (
Bloomies has a 4 deluxe samples with $125 beauty. Purchase. Lots of the other gwp's are still available!

I might steal dh's. he doesn't wear them.

red, if it were me, I'd rather have the t-shirt than the wallet, but I couldn't care less about purses. I think it depends on your friend's personality. What type of thing does she normally buy for herself? I would think she has a good scarf selection there, but I could be wrong.

Love this look. My grandmother did it and I think it suits people of all ages [unique-vintage.com]
Thin scarves tied to a tote/bag is cute too!
Scarves converted to wraps and shawls. I love that look!

And done this before [etsystatic.com]
Hope that gives you some ideas for style!
I wore that style a few times in high school. It was trendy then. I never was crazy about the look, but HS is all about being trendy whether it looks good or not.
BTW - cute dress!
