check to see what the seller listed. It never hurts to complain, but sometimes they list handling charges of $4-$10Frown which it added to to the shipping. Not sure why thats allowed.

gh - in some shoes, 5.5 isn't even available. i chance on the 6 sometimes in flats. i haven't kept a 6 lately. i did when i was preggo. but they are big now. some 6's came today, and i walk out of them. probably a good thing, so i don't have to keep them :lo l:

i received the deep red print (velvety) blustery. i like it too, but it is relatively pricey. is it bad to own 3 pairs of blustery?
I have those shoes in my cart debating on whether or not I would wear them enough to justify the purchase. It doesn't help that the other blustery pair is a little big & stiff. I really want to love them, since you girls think they're so great. laugh out loud I'm still deciding. Scratchchin Those shoes are really cute though.

If you love them, 3 pairs aren't too many. They're all different.

I have a good question for those of you ladies who travel a lot for family.

I'm going to Belgium in May for business, and when I studied abroad in Vienna, I made a friend who is now living in Belgium. I will be staying with her for about 5 nights, which is super generous. She was a good friend of mine in Vienna (even took me to her house in Hungary), and we keep in touch. Since she's opening up her house to me, I want to go with a gift. What are some things in America that are desirable?

A friend of mine from France comes back to the US and always always ALWAYS buys a bunch of Coach from the outlets because it is just so expensive there.

Things I was considering.
1) A coach wallet from the outlet? (probably about $75)
2) A Minnesota Twins t-shirt (possibly VS)? What's more MN/American than baseball, and t-shirts are always usable.
3) some sort of scarf? maybe coach?

So, I have a few questions...
1) How much do you think I should spend on a host gift?
2) Are there any other little food items that are unique to the US that people from Europe like?
3) Do any of those gift items sound good? I like the wallet idea, but I don't want it to be like...overkill...but the outlet has a lot of nice things, and I'm pretty sure I could find something.

Coach wallet and taking her out to lunch or dinner sounds good. My family is overseas, and they LOVE when I bring VS GWP's, VS is expensive there.. so go through some of your GWP's and maybe give her a VS swim tote and accessories instead of the coach wallet..

i have 3! Smilie

you're right - coach is extremely expensive overseas. the outlet online had some sales recently... 1/2 off all bags. i can't believe how cheap some bags are at the outlet. it would be really nice for you to get her a wallet.

and also, the vs stuff is a great idea. i just let my friend go through my gwp stash to bring back overseas to his cousins/coworkers. it's hard to get out there and people pay a premium.

but like GH said it largely depends on her likes. if she's into makeup i'd bring some american brands bc they're very marked up overseas. i think nars is like 2x as much in asia - crazy.
Hey ladies - sorry I'm not on here much but I wanted to make sure to let all of you who mentioned Coach know that the product they sell at the outlet is NOT what you buy in the mall. The price tags are fake and are not what they ever sold for. You will never find 95% of the purses from the outlet in the mall. If you ever need help knowing the difference, PM me. Especially when they have their 50% off online sale that nerdicus was talking about. I can show you what is MFF (Made For Factory) or Deletes (Actual bags/wallets/accessories deleted from the full price store and sent to the outlet.) The "Deletes" are of a much higher quality and a much better deal than the outlet "factory" stuff.

You can ask a sales associate when you go in to the outlet. They can help direct you to the deletes too. I hate seeing women walking around with a factory purse and thinking they got a $498 bag for $250 or even less. What you get is exactly what you pay for - a factory bag meant to be sold at $250 but stuck with a $498 price tag.

If you need any help at Coach or the outlet, you can let me know or PM me. I have a bit of a Coach addiction...

Haha I'm not that crazy about coach to care, but it sucks that they're also doing the "made for factory" thing. I hate that stores do this. I've only ever gotten 1 thing from a factory - a wallet - and Id buy it again if I could kuz I love it so much. But its still in great condition after 4 years.

I'll put this is spoiler text. You can read it if you want...laugh out loud hug

Secret

It gets more complicated because they retag some things at the store, but the inside patch is the easiest way to tell. Another is the script on the outside of the bag. Let me know if you have any questions.

It definitely is still good quality and still carries Coach's lifetime warranty. It's just not what it is marketed as, which can piss some people off. The main purse I carry every day is a large black MFF satchel. I love it, it's durable, and I know it didn't cost $500 so I don't mind tossing DD's stuff in it. I just like people to know what they are getting Smilie

laugh out loud I'm sorry! My factory purse is over 2 years old and looks great still. I actually sold off like 5 of my full price purses since I spent so much time worrying about getting them dirty. I sold them and bought a gun laugh out loud I don't worry about that getting dirty. Anyhow, the bags are still a great product, I just don't like it when people are mislead.

I don't think so, since you agree to those charges when you purchase an item handling and all. You could post in your feedback about the charge. ebay charges sellers a fee for thier shipping costs too, I have to guestimate on shipping since I don't know who/where it will be sent till the listing is over. The seller should have shipped prioirty (it's good practice). I have mine lised for $6.95 for shipping b/c I ship prioirty on majority of all things. If it's less wieght on a small item, I do free ship (and build the cost into the product to ship) or $3.95 to cover postage and shipping package cost. HTH
