Way back when Bon Ton had the Lancome gift, 20% off code and some of us got nail polishes, I had quite the experience. They ended up shipping me the wrong color, refusing to send the right one until they got that one back. I sent it back, heard nothing for 2 weeks. I called, then found out they ran out of that one and cancelled it with no notice of receipt, refund, or anything. Then the other color I ordered they ran out of, but it took them a WEEK to let me know. Finally, after I called customer service twice, they told me to use the form on the site to contact them to let them know their policy when they send you the wrong item sucks.
So I sent an email. 10 days go by and no reply. I posted on their facebook wall. They finally responded with ANOTHER email address for me to write to. I emailed that. 5 days later I heard nothing so I posted again on their FB page telling them they fail and have the worst customer service I have ever SEEN.
I wasn't so annoyed with the product cancellation now as I was with the lack of answering my kind suggestions and complaints about the process when they send you the wrong item.
Finally after I blasted them on facebook the manager miraculously found my name and email and order. I was in jury duty but he did call 2 times. He said that he found one of his stores with both items I had bought so they re did the purchase and then he refunded it. Not thrilled they charged my card without asking, but since they refunded it I was OK. Figured I got the two nail polishes I actually wanted for free, so no big deal.
I got the box today. One of them is the wrong nail polish.
How does ONE company fail so many times in a row?
