Ah, my mistake. I meant to say Sour Yellow, but I know you adverted from Sour Yellow because of the word "sour." It's just a really nice light yellow. I wonder if I should chance it with just a top...and then see how it goes. I really want a set like this [victoriassecret.com], but the Almafai blue is just too bright. I don't do bright. So I'm hoping that Majorelle Blue would work nod
Let me know if it works. I want a yellow swim piece, but I am more of a Canary Yellow girl. Not sure what color I'd pair with it. I don't want to do an all yellow bikini because I have a yellow dot bikini.

I can run that report on my computer. I had to start listing my returns under clothing because it was skewing the results. Hahaha

I use MS Money, which they stopped producing. I could use Excel because all my clothing items are in spreadsheets.

I used excel a lot in college so it's program of choice. Once upon a time I was really organized and kept up with everything. Then ds came along laugh out loud.
I've never used ms money.

I used to live in Van Nuys, right around the corner form the PD. You would see a undercover car drive by looking for the drug dealers. We only lived there 1 year 8/9 mos. Until we could afford a house. Crazy things young adults do.
I like how you remember almost exactly how long you lived there, like you were counting down the days until you could break out Teehee . It's funny you mention that. There's a Crown Vic at the end of the street with plates that say B8 Car ... I keep thinking it's a retired cop laugh out loud

Long story not short enough..... regardless of where we live, we all have to endure the wrath of Mother Nature on occasion. It appears we're all conditioned to deal with the disaster we're more likely to encounter, & the others seem worse.
nod Snow excites me, but it still terrifies my parents. I understand Alvsy liking that which is more predictable (tornadoes vs. earthquakes). We are waiting on the "big one" I suppose. I worry about where we live right now b/c if there is a landslide (or water main break or fire as happened in the last 2 weeks), one of 2 roads out is shut down. Part of me wants to buy an emergency raft or boat so we can get off the peninsula and get food or something laugh out loud

is it just me or are the pockets higher on the bird portofino than the other ones?
http://www.express.com/clothing/Women/Portofino+Shirts/cat/cat910002

it looked abnormally high on me. i don't like it.
Seems obvious, but did you try pulling it down in front? The style seems to naturally fall to the back. Also, it could be a bad cut...

Mint.com - if you register your CC's won't they produce a nice pie chart for you? LMAO

I think it's Aegean Blue that I like in the Portofino. Light enough for a summer color, but opaque enough for sans cami. Smilie

Q - for the honeycomb style panty drawer organizer... is it 1 pair per section? I've got 2 in there and it still takes up too much room to stuff all my pairs.

laugh out loud That seems like it would be quite the solution. But how to store if your place is crashing down on top of it? Tongue

I'm not of help here. I just looked up what a honeycomb organizer was and that seems really inefficient. For me, I just fold them up like the way they come from online and store them back to back vertically. It seems to work. Easy to see what they are and I'm able to store quite a few in a drawer. Just a suggestion. But I am running out of room.

I think you asked what everyone was doing with the certs- I am buying lots and lots of swim... piece by piece. I have purchased both suits that SmilingHelen linked. I'm also buying bottoms in different colors. Since the chesticles need special supportive (read $$$ ) tops, I've decided to use the bottoms as my mix piece. Specifically this:
* banded bottom [victoriassecret.com] for $6 + tax after cert and FS code ( IIRC, you mostly do tankinis, but that doesn't mean you can't swap out the bottoms!) It comes in black, blue and pink - surely they'll match something or I'll color block Big Grin
* This clearance/sale cross-listed Beach Sexy Striped Push-up Bandeau [victoriassecret.com] top and bottom (it comes w/ a halter strap and cup size so I should be OK for low - medium activity water days). Would have been good with the 20% off clearance code, but I'm going to try and let it go instead of reordering for a couple bucks Stick Out Tongue

I do have these long narrow, high walled bins that I was using to do what sounds similar to your solution. I wanted to try it out of sheer laziness- I was trying to skip the folding step and just stuff them in laugh out loud , but yes - seems terribly inefficient. Scratchchin You know what I just thought of? I could go more vertical and use the cardboard roll from TP standing on it's end and then the panties could seriously go vertical and I could just stuff them in! That might also help suck the moisture out of the air, but might also attract silverfish Scratchhead I need a glass of wine to figure this out Beer

gel insoles - i just got these [amazon.com] from amazon since the dr scholl's ball of foot insoles [amazon.com] suck now (they used to be good but then they changed it -- why?!). they feel sort of like the old dr scholl's ball of foot cushions... i will test them out this weekend and report back but i have high hopes for them! Your post just made me spend lots of time reading about organization. I still can't find a solution for my bikinis. Most places say just to ziploc. Why ziploc when it already comes in those plastic bags?

TP rolls sound great for your solution nod I've decided to buy a horizontal bin of some sorts to store the bikini tops. I'm going crazy. My issue is that it has to have a cover or something because of all the dust here.

I've also decided to refold all my sweaters too. See if they will take up a lot less room shake head

I remember those insoles from Dr. Scholl's. The sticky stuff got sooooo gross in mine.

True, I should tie all my bikinis together to make a rope to get down the ~60 foot cliff and the rest to swim away in Crazylaugh

you could try the compression bags for the more bulky sweaters (boucle wool, etc). That would keep the dust out and reduce volume. I think I'm going to use totes to organize the bikinis within my closet bins. I didn't used to have more than 1 black top and bottom and now... Messed Up

Hmm true, I can see them getting gross. I don't wear the heels that need those much anyway...

You would have had to do that anyway... No inflatable raft or boat is gonna carry you down a cliff!
