there is the crochet peplum and that peplum yall were asking about last night.

Peplum looks a little odd on me because the waist hits me so high. I have one peplum top that I bought during the last tick tock, and I'm just not that crazy about it. I should try these tees, though.

to me it looks like the crochet has a lower waist than the peplum tee. i do like how casual the tee is though, and the peplum is nice when you're bloated and want to hide your tummy. :l ol:
Which color combo? I can't get Express links to work. Searching for color block fit & flare on the site keeps taking me to pants.

I'm talking about the colorblock fit and flare dress. It is blue, white, and black. I just love the fit of that dress. I sized up to a 4 so it fit in the waist. The dress is on the long side, which is perfect for me.

Express, peplum tops hit too high on everyone. I'm short, but my chest raises the waistline. I can't figure out why they cut the waistline so high.

A few of us have the same problem with the width of the peplum tops. We're also between sizes. I've altered a couple of the lace peplum tops to get a better fit, but it's not worth doing that for all of them.
I know which dress you're talking about. I liked it, but my DH didn't. As nerdi mentioned below, he thought it was too long & wasn't flattering on me. I agreed that it would have needed to be hemmed for me to keep it. The cheaper, color block version is more flattering on me. I can understand why you got so many complements. It's a really pretty dress. I'm sure you looked fantastic in it.

Express does seem to cater to women of avg. height & shorter. VS clothes are often too long for me. They seem to have more pants with a 34" inseam than any other length. I never understood that. There aren't that many really tall women. This thread is proof of that. You're not super tall, but you seem like an Amazonian woman around here.
Your "busty" top fits me better than any of the other peplum tops. It's not a perfect fit, but it's the only one that doesn't need to be altered for me to wear it. I bought both colors mostly because I didn't need to alter them.
