My phone wouldn't back up for literally months because I ran out. So I finally moved all of my photos onto our Synology server just so that I could backup Stylebook LMAO

How do you back up a phone?


Some bitches be crazy is all I have to say about that LMAO!

I hook it up to my laptop with itunes installed. Then it displays my phone and I hit back up to computer. There is also the option to back up to the cloud, but I have never restored from the cloud.

Once your old phone is backed up on the computer, then you hook up the new phone. I think it prompts if you want to install it as a new phone or restore from backup. It's been a while since I did it, and at the time it was just with an ipad.

I make Dropbox automatically upload my photos. I'm not sure how I started doing this (because it was clearly an error). It uploads when it's connected to my office computer automatically or over wireless when I do it manually.

My old iphone died in November, right after I got back from Puerto Rico. I thought I lost all of the photos, but in early January, I magically found them stored on my Dropbox.

Pretty cool feature Smilie

oh i see. i need to check into that. i bet dh can walk me through it next time he's home. i'm not good with technology at all.
