You can get toe socks (Injinji is the most popular brand) but when I do that I need to go up a size or they're too tight. If you bought KSOs or Komodos you don't need socks though. I only wear socks with my Bormios and only when it's super-cold out. Congrats on joining the Toe Shoe Revolution! High Five

If you go running in them, take it easy the first few times. Your calves will thank me. laugh out loud

Melisandre is farking TERRIFYING Cold Stannis isn't much better IMO.
I had been thinking about them off and on for a while, but did 0 research. The $35.99/FS sounded fair. I got the Bikila. I guess I will wait til they come, try them on, and see what I think re socks? I can't imagine not wearing socks for a run, and I guess I will wear them a couple x first, then a jog and take it from there. I'm excited! Flex

I just got to the part where she birthed the Reaper before. I needed a nap after that Cold I grabbed Sassy and said HOLD ME!!!
Stannis was at first plain not likable, then a tool, then ambitious to an evil/dumb fault, so I'm guessing he will just go downhill from there EEK!

Oh, didn't I mention that? $113 is the cost of a 30-day supply of Escitalopram. I don't even wanna know what actual Lexapro costs. Reaper

i sent my ex a text last week, telling him our cat Biggie is acting strangely, and it reminds me of how our other cat Cleo was acting when i didn't realize she was in kidney failure. i had Cleo her whole life, and she had just turned 9 when we put her down a year and a half ago. it was devastating to me, and the idea that Biggie is about to go through that is scaring me.

so i texted him again Saturday and said i'd made an appointment for the cat to go to the vet tomorrow to get her updated shots and get bloodwork done. it's gonna cost almost $300. i asked if he could help me pay for it.

well, 5 days after the first text he finally just replied to me. i had sent 6 or 7 texts over the last 5 days about everything, and i forwarded him the vet's estimate in email yesterday. his reply tonight just sorta hit me in the gut and took the wind out of me, and i'm mad at myself because i don't like the idea that his words are actually upsetting to me. he said, I'm trying to move on, and responding to you and helping you financially isn't the way to do that.

i told him i respect that, and said he'd be helping the cat, not helping me. he didn't reply and i doubt he ever will again. Biggie is our cat, not my cat. i feel like he's being really cold by refusing to help me out. but i also can understand that he is unable to maintain any sort of relationship with me if he wants to move on.

so now i'm worried about Biggie. my heart tells me that i already know what the tests will confirm tomorrow. i'm scared.

I have the men's Bikilas, I believe. They're pretty awesome for trail running. Just watch out for rocks and be prepared for burning calves for the first few times you go running because of the difference in how you step. They look goofy, but I love both of mine. (I also have a smoothish-bottomed pair just for wearing outside like slippers)

Hugs to Biggie, but nothing is a good idea with an ex, especially so soon after divorce--- mixing finances and a sick pet EEK! tread with caution. I'd rather cash out savings, take a little hit, or borrow from mom.

Something like that! Coverlaugh

You actually feel like you're running barefoot. And they're not like those "natural feeling" condoms. These really do work.
