Nope, they screwed her over on the Apple insurance twice already. She refused to buy it again.

It didn't immediately dawn on her that it was unusable, until about the third time I mentioned it. That's when she realized she'd better get the screen glass replaced, if she expected to use it again. Of course, she'd rather die than be without it for more than a few hours.

I remember when I went to unemployment when I got out of the military. I decided it was much less hassle to just find a farking job laugh out loud
Fortunately wifey made just enough for us to eke by until I did.

On another note

I think I'm still flush with adrenaline from the drive home. I now have an ugly Benz that runs like a damn beast. Of course, the sprayer doesn't work, and the the dash lights are burned out, and the wipers iced up, and I had to drive 50 miles to get home. I used my phone as a speedometer, and stopped every few miles because the FARKING STUPID SNOW decided to screw with me, and I had to use paper towels and Windex to clean the windshield. The shifter has an amazingly short throw, never handled one like that before. Pics later.
And there's a Jesus sticker on the back that gots to go. Also for whatever reason, they left a big-ass pair of bolt cutters up front in the passenger footwell.

The snow built up more in my town while we were gone, too, so here I am in a ridiculously short-geared, torquey RWD car, living at the top of a hill, when it spent all day snowing, and there was 1/2" of snow on top of the slick roads.
