God gave us the power of creating life, and since it's given from God it is considered sacred. Since it is sacred it should only be used for the purposes given, and not abused or belittled.
Those that believe that also believe that birth control is belittling the power that God has given us and therefore is against his will.
I personally believe in birth control. I believe that you should not have children more than you are able (physically, emotionally, financially, etc.). Bringing life into the world is only beneficial to God's plan if those lives have the best chance at success.

I also don't believe you should have more children than you can care for, but I'm a hypocrite in this area. When we lost our son and were facing mountains of debt, the queen and I weren't exactly wise with when we had sex. And then . . . . twins! And then we weren't wise again after the twins because the lack of sleep made us resent each other. By the time we came back together, there was no stopping us from having sex, and let's just say, that wasn't the time to do it either because . . . . Wee Man.
So there we were with more mountains of debt because of medical bills (about 15k over 4 years in medial bills (20k if you count the miscarriage a few months before)) and three more kids to support. We had to put the kids on medicaid. I worked my ass off, got a raise, and was able to get them off medicaid within 1.5 years of the youngest being on it. There are times you need to lean on the resources the gov't offers by taking your money without consent, but they shouldn't be permanent handouts.
But let's be honest. If you don't know your baby daddy is going to be there by the time baby be born, shoot yourself in the head if you can't control yourself. You're part of the problem. And if you don't plan on being around for the woman you're about to have sex with, either slide in to 5th or shoot yourself in the head. You're also part of the problem.
