I've been taking the food grade h2o2 internally and started applying it to the bite externally. The Chief Medical Examiner of the house just looked at it and said that the h2o2 is going to the site of the infection, and it looks like it's all gathering and trying to get the bad shit out which is why it would smell. It's been two months, and I haven't had a fever or anything. It doesn't smell sweet like a bad or worrisome infection would. It smells like the SFP. The skin around it is hard and grey: not rotting. It's more like a callous. This isn't something transmitted from the tick to me; it's my body dealing with what is left of the tick I think. I just put more of the food grade h2o2 on it, and it hurts like a son of a bitch as usual.

Chewy - It should not take two months for a tick bite to heal. Something is wrong. I am not of fan of taking antibiotics when they are not needed, but you definitely need them!



I just took my ex-mother-in-law shopping for her birthday and I bought her two outfits! Of course I was using my $50 off $100 coupon for Younkers/BonTon and I made her shop the clearance section. Although,she is my children's grandmother and I am hoping to butter her up so that she will watch them during summer vacation.

I obviously have an infection that is likely caused by me messing with it too much and not just taking the plunge to pull or cut the head out. Had I dealt with it correctly from the get go, this wouldn't be happening.

I didn't realize you left the head inside. I remember growing up, whenever we would remove ticks,we would have to make sure the head was still attached to the tick.
