I'm going to guess you'll have an easier time of it than I did laugh out loud
Definitely doable, needs practice. Just went through it three complete times, not counting the times I stopped to redo bits where I completely mangled a vocal transition.

Holy heck, I just came up for air. laugh out loud I've been listening to a LOT of music, playing at maximum volume, for several hours. I turned to the Barves/Twins game about an hour late, and it was the top of the fifth inning, but the Barves were already winning, 5-0. If the rain doesn't fark with us, I may REALLY enjoy watching them play tomorrow night and Wednesday afternoon. I picked up a couple of $7 rain ponchos at Wal-Mart this afternoon, and got a new umbrella for the first time in years. I don't care if it sprinkles or rains lightly, I'm prepared. If there's a farking cloudburst and/or strong winds/hail, I'm heading for the car.
I dont blame you there!!!

By my count, I've played over twenty songs I didn't know before in the last few days. Some with more success than others, mind you.

Anyone curious to know what my fingers look like after daily practice for a few weeks?

Oh, absolutely. That's not an outrageous price for a 50s Silvertone, but it's easy to argue that the painting hurts the value as a collector's piece. It's probably got playability issues too, 3/8" is mighty high action at the 12th fret. For comparison, my nice guitar is a little over 1/8". My guitar with a big crack in the neck is around 3/8".

perhaps you can make an appointment to inspect it in person bulb

Ukes are cool
Think, Eddie Vedder drool
Fiddles are fun, but practically everyone has a fiddler nowadays. Not a lot of folks play the ukelele.

Certainly! Evillaugh

But I know something you don't know.

I am not left-handed!

But now that I think about it, I think that's the hand I usually do that with.

You know, I don't think I'd have a problem paying a hundred for it, but my "want" level declines as the price increases.

I think I should at least get better at one of the other stringed instruments before I add another to the stable Wink2

That does give me a decorating idea though Scratchchin
Once I get the shelves for the PA speakers built, I could probably build up a few wall-mounts to act as both display pieces, but also be practical for pulling them down to play.

Hm, Pandora is playing a Sara Bareilles tune I haven't heard before (King of Anything). My perception remains unchanged, I like the songs themselves, but she's over-produced.

That's not to say I can't use the other one Wink

I love the idea of mounting them on the walls. I like having decor that is useful. Tons of my walls are bookshelves, cuz I love books and I think they look beautiful. It really personalizes your space Cloud9

Coffeehouse plays that song ALL OF THE TIME
