What I do with my kids is give them a giant plate of something that I know they won't like. They say they don't like it. So I tell them they just have to take a couple bites and then they don't have to eat anymore. They think they are pulling something over on mom when they aren't. The thought is that they will eventually like it.
That's just his thing. I think his job is stressful at times and making cheesecake helps him unwind. His co-workers reap the benefits. He mention he didn't have anything to do this weekend or next. I mentioned that next weekend is Cheese Fest (yes this is Wisconsin) He happened to look it up and they are having a cheese cake contest. So he is entering that.
I need to get in touch with a nutritionist...because, ya know I have oodles of time.

I'm not sure, I know I sang terribly my first time, and as I mentioned, I did horribly (I mean, just BAD) on one last night, but I'm not consistently terrible. I guess I'll have to wait and see if it happens.
It's not that. These people don't necessarily qualify as strangers, I've played with all of them at least once before now, and mostly know their names.

I think we started with 6, and ended up with 9. It goes around in a circle (since I only sang a couple last week, they had joked that this week was going to be all me, so I got to go first

Eh, I think it's just part of the "aspie" thing. I only have so much capacity for interacting with people at a face-to-face level in large quantities. After that, I withdraw and recuperate. When I was a salesman, I'd find somewhere quiet and green to go meditate to deal with it.

the guy is super nice and he's verifying my billing and shipping address since they are different (and I've never ordered there before I guess too).
Then the phone guy is just so sweet and to top it off, he calls me Miss VViles, which a couple of my oldest friends used to/still do call me, and it immediatelly makes me happy to hear. If a guy calls me that, I'm totally making out with him. Love to be called Miss VViles
