is he GF?
No, been considering GF, but man oh man, it will make the few options that I have even less.

Quote from teenbean :
I actually made asparagus last week. One daughter ate it, the other didn't. I never liked it as a child.

What I do with my kids is give them a giant plate of something that I know they won't like. They say they don't like it. So I tell them they just have to take a couple bites and then they don't have to eat anymore. They think they are pulling something over on mom when they aren't. The thought is that they will eventually like it.

That's just his thing. I think his job is stressful at times and making cheesecake helps him unwind. His co-workers reap the benefits. He mention he didn't have anything to do this weekend or next. I mentioned that next weekend is Cheese Fest (yes this is Wisconsin) He happened to look it up and they are having a cheese cake contest. So he is entering that.
There have been many times where he tries to eat something to show us how big he is and it goes in and he either a) gags and spits it out b) gets it down but vomit Completely a sensory issue. This is one thing that we will address in OT. I've even considered getting an eating board game to increase his selections.

I need to get in touch with a nutritionist...because, ya know I have oodles of time. laugh out loud

how many people play? who picks the songs- do you take turns?
what if someone who totally sucked showed up
hey guy's
I'm here to rock Punk
and were off key and was really nice but truly sucked
how would that be handled?
I think we started with 6, and ended up with 9. It goes around in a circle (since I only sang a couple last week, they had joked that this week was going to be all me, so I got to go first laugh out loud)
It just goes around in a circle, sometimes people pass.
I'm not sure, I know I sang terribly my first time, and as I mentioned, I did horribly (I mean, just BAD) on one last night, but I'm not consistently terrible. I guess I'll have to wait and see if it happens.
Quote from Thrifteh :
I limit my interaction with strangers in public, because, well, they piss me off with their stupidity most of the time.
laugh out loud
It's not that. These people don't necessarily qualify as strangers, I've played with all of them at least once before now, and mostly know their names.

OK onto greener pastures. F1, lay down on my couch and tell me why you were feeling overwhelmed last night. There now, just tell me all your feels. You can do it. Bowdown
Eh, I think it's just part of the "aspie" thing. I only have so much capacity for interacting with people at a face-to-face level in large quantities. After that, I withdraw and recuperate. When I was a salesman, I'd find somewhere quiet and green to go meditate to deal with it.

That's my main problem with vegetables too. Younger kid seems to have it to a much lesser extent (so far it seems like just mushrooms and eggplant for her, which are two of my worst).

To Thrifteh, strangers are people in line at the grocery store/supercenter, or people cashiering there laugh out loud

Don't get too hard on yourself...remember WHY you are doing this...to have fun, improve your playing and to meet hawt chicks! Whee

I am going to try that route this summer. I can load it up with protein powder. Do you like the Sun Warrior brand?

Actually I have no problem striking up conversations with people at the store. The stupid people are those that are oblivious to others around them...ignoring the screaming child, letting a hoard of children run amuck, blocking an entire aisle with their cart, ignoring your request of "excuse me"...etc. Stupid people suck. I don't even shop at Walmart. Could you imagine?!?!?!

I'd be Blowup on all their asses!

Ok I confess I'm a dick laugh out loud
I huff and puff and call back Shopko
the guy is super nice and he's verifying my billing and shipping address since they are different (and I've never ordered there before I guess too).
Then the phone guy is just so sweet and to top it off, he calls me Miss VViles, which a couple of my oldest friends used to/still do call me, and it immediatelly makes me happy to hear. If a guy calls me that, I'm totally making out with him. Love to be called Miss VViles Cloud9

I'm not sweating one bad song, especially when I know it's a harder one for me nod
I specifically waited until there were fewer people there, and a number of folks were on a smoke break before I played it Turtle
It did still have some entertainment value, as a couple people laughed at the lyrics.
