rottentomatoes [rottentomatoes.com] (and its site Flixster) are offering free movie downloads.

Either go to RottenTomatoes.com [rottentomatoes.com] and go to Earn Gift Movies at the top right of the screen.
OR Create a Flixster [flixster.com] account and then go to "Earn Gift Movies" on leftside of the screen
(You will need a facebook account to login to rottentomatoes or flixster)

Follow the instructions. There are multiple ways to get free movies including"
--installing the flixster app on your iphone or android phone.
--adding 5 movies to your Want To See List

[FYI] Movies are provided at RANDOM = You don't get to choose nor select movie!

Using the glitch, I was able to get 30 free movies. If it doesn't work, well at least you got some free movies.

Best method for getting 30 free movies. (thx stealofadeal and Requies)

Caveat: Make sure not to reload the page or click on "go see my collections". I was having trouble with the iPhone and Android methods. I think the problem was that I was going to the collection and forcing a reload on the page which checks for the offer redemption. So, I don't know what would happen if you go away from the page and come back, but I wouldn't chance it until you get all 30 movies.

If you can't get that to work, try the "Pick 5" trick:

When all movie choices under "want to see" are gone I used the flixster app on my ipod to remove movies from my want to see list. go to your list. click on a movie, tap on want to see button it will change from blue to gray and remove movie, go back and repeat. I couldn't figure out how to remove from my want to see list on Chrome. Don't change to "not interested" because there seems to be a limited number of movies showing up on the "want to see" list.

Also, if you are trying to get the glitch on the app but getting nowhere...as another resort, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. For me, I was able to get the glitch over and over with new movies each time by uninstalling then reinstalling, rinse and repeat.

Don't give up!! there seem to be many different ways to get the glitch working!!

I pick the 5 movies I want to see and it says I get a free movie, but the movie does not appear in my account

Did you get your movie via Flixster or via RottenTomatoes?

On Flixster. On the left side of the screen is a link that says "Collection" I click on that link and my gift movies show up there. I can click on the individual movie and then there is a link to "watch now"...

On Rottentomatoes, there should be a link at the top left corner that says "Movies I Own". Click on that, and it will take you to your movie collection where you can watch the films.

hmmm..maybe it will take some time to load into your collection...or maybe try doing it through rottentomatoes. There are a lot of other ways to get free movies, like signing up for the news-letter. Maybe those will work better or come faster.

Oh wait, i see what you're saying. I am getting the same problem. I think it's better to do it through rottentomatoes.com then flixster. It looks like flixster may be having some kind of glitch right now??

I'm pretty sure the site and app is glitching. It keeps giving me free movies. All I did was restart the app and it kept giving me free movies 3-4 at a time with the offers they give you. After about 21 I started getting an error and had to restart the app and just clicked on the get free gift movie each time for 1 movie every time I restarted the app. I maxed out at 30 now and the same movie keeps popping up as my free gift.

I tried this on my Android app and it is also working for me.. getting a lot of free movies.
Although I'm restarting the app and it says "Add to your collection! Tap here for a surprise gift movie" (in gray) in the middle of the first screen that pops up and I keep getting one free movie every time I load the app then go through the steps again, then exit, repeat.

I don't even restart app, just hit can cancel on congrats page and it sends you back to page saying you have free movie hit continue to accept. Each time is a different movie. after 30 just keeps giving same movie.

Lol. Better hurry you all before flixster catches on to it. I just got 30 movies.

Sweet I ran into a glitch earlier today on the actual website where you get the free movie for adding to your want to see. I got a movie each 5 but eventually it ran out of movies for me to add so I couldn't do it anymore.
