So My Wife Moved In With Her Boyfriend... (Update #211)

8,512 793 August 12, 2007 at 12:02 AM in Sporting Goods
Well you can call her Strike Three cuz she is outta here!

The U-Haul came this morning. Since he doesn't want to tell his friends about me (she was told to lie and say she's been divorced for a couple of years), it was only him, her and me to load up the truck. I had all the boxes and furniture in the garage. Only the pictures and breakable stuff were in the house. I helped him load up the U-Haul (and we packed it full) without so much as a Thank You. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) She has a real winner there.

You're a good guy, OP. She's a twit and always will be. She's looking for greener pastures and eventually she'll take another lover and dump the guy she's with now. She's never be happy with what she has.

I agree with the other posters....Did you change your locks? And make sure to change beneficiaries on all your insurance (life, car, medical) and retirement accounts once your lawyer gives the all clear. Last thing you want is her getting $ that should go to your kids.

Make sure her name is off of everything. And you'd be surprised how much there is to have removed. Go thru everything. And have the lawyer double check.

And get yourself an attorney whose half pitbull that will look out for your interests. Your soon to be ex will hurt you in a minute if she can (well she allready has)

hug

Why is everyone telling him he shouldn't have helped? Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
So basically it would be ok for him to date while married, screw around, and then expect her to help him move? NO WAY!

I'm glad she's gone, for your sake. When are you filing divorce papers? They would have already been served if I had that happen.

[B] Also, I'm don't know where you live, so I don't know if it is the same for you ..... BUT in NC, if a spouse cheats and leaves the marriage for another person, the injured party (you) can get sole custody of the kids, child support payments from the ex (until the kids graduate from college) and ALIMONY for as long as the injured party (you) remains unmarried. SO, you need to check with a GOOD divorce attorney in your state ASAP!!!!! Divorce hurts, but court ordered revenge is SWEET!!!!! AND you can sue HIM for damages!!!!!!! Which is even SWEETER!!!!!!
They call it alienation of affection, I believe.

PS---I'm glad she's out of your life Stealth. Time to start anew!

It takes a strong person to not make a scene during a messy move-out. Well done, sir.

When I broke up with my ex (boyfriend, not husband - and no cheating was involved) he sat on the lawn in a chair and drank beer while watching the grad students I'd conned into helping me move load the truck. Real classy guy, that one.Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Thanks everybody. Peace

I'm rearranging the house now. This is lots of work! But at least I'll have the place like I want it.

I'm sorry, I read the beginning of the other thread when op first started the poll, and stopped reading it because I knew he wasn't telling the entire story. Some people always try to make themselves look so great on the internet.

Or they both suffer from immaturity. Shrug.

You don't know the whole story either. Why call someone immature when you have no idea what happened?

You COULD just leave it at "no comment" and cut the drama

That's funny $hit right there...I've actually heard someone say this about me before. Made me sit back and think...nod

There's no way in hell I would have helped her and "the new guy" move out, unless she was just such a complete loss to begin with that you were excited to see her go...

I love reading you guys' posts in the lounge...cracks me up...
