LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Thousands of police officers throughout Southern California and Nevada hunted Thursday for a former Los Angeles officer who was angry over his firing and began a deadly shooting rampage that he warned in an online posting would target those on the force who wronged him, authorities said.
Disgruntled ex-LAPD officer writes a manifesto detailing how (allegedly) the LAPD is corrupt. He then starts a war with LAPD. He's rather specific with the (alleged) corruption details in his manifesto.

Apparently, the LAPD has already shot up at least two vehicles "matching the description" of the ex-cop's vehicle. The LAPD is randomly shooting up suspected vehicles (and people!)? What?
Quote :
Los Angeles officers guarding a "target" named in the posting shot and wounded multiple people in Torrance who were in a pickup but were not involved, authorities said. The extent of their injuries was not released. It's not clear if the target is a person or a location.

The Daily Breeze in Torrance also reports (http://urlhasbeenblocked/YWhBLi ) that there was another police shooting nearby involving another pickup truck, but the driver wasn't hurt.
Here's the manifesto:

There is a body. It has not been identified.
Got any pictures?

Officially they say the burned building is still too hot to enter and that no body has been found.

Officially. They aren't yet able to make that statement officially.

I doubt that they have actually gone in and found the body yet. My guess is that they are certain that there is a body because they could smell it burning. It is a sickeningly accurate way of predicting the presence of victims in structure fires.

[Updated at 11:45 p.m. ET] The San Bernardino Sheriff's Department is echoing the LAPD's refutation of reports that Dorner's body was found in the burned cabin, but it acknowledges investigators believe a body is there.

"We believe (the suspect) is still inside the cabin that caught fire," SBSD spokeswoman Cindy Bachman said.

Later, she said, "(Investigators) believe a body is in there," but that investigators still haven't been inside the cabin to look for one.

"It is too hot. (It's) still smoldering" and not safe to enter, Bachman said, adding that officials believe there still is live ammunition in the smoldering cabin.

"We believe that the person that barricaded himself inside the cabin and engaged in gunfire with our deputies ... is still inside there even though the building burned," she said.

They have not "recovered" a body, or "identified" a body, but they know there is a body.

They believe there is a body.

They don't know there is a body.

And I will go with my theory on how they "know" it.

That is a lesson I would have preferred not to have learned on the scene of a house fire as the potential "next of kin". Not a good day and not a pleasant memory.

Okay, if you want to nitpick, they say they "believe" there is a body, and I say they "know" there is a body even though they can't confirm it.

Comfort Sounds terrible.

Just saw the photo on Drudge.... my first thought....

"LMFAO, they burned that mother f'er down!!!"

I'm glad though regardless of how questionable the circumstances were. How many more law enforcement families will have to bury a loved one so some whack-job can get his day in court?

Plus, the great thing about LA is the race wars. Regardless of how guilty or innocent Rodney King, OJ Simpson and now Christopher Dorner were/are, the black community will see this as yet another slight against them. So much for post-racial America.

Here's a video clip [cbslocal.com] with some local news footage from California.

The Police are the ones who started the fire according to the scanner

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feat...CdqybEfy9w

Listen in at 1:05 - "We're gonna go forward with the plan, with the burn"
Then at 1:26 - "Burners Deployed, we have a fire"

Interesting way to end this, now did they do it to kill Dorner or force him out? Dorner did end up killing himself at 3:05 - "One Shot fired from within the residence" (most likely his suicide)

Now they are saying they found a wallet with his drivers license in the cabin ....how did that survive the fire? I thought he dropped his wallet at the marina where he tried to take that boat....

http://news.yahoo.com/ap-source-d...47913.html

And no mention of family members pleading fr him to give up....was he a total loner?

And every pic i have seen shows a smiling military man....no grim photos or even the standard DL photo that i am sure the police have access to...

What is the media up to with this one?
