Hi Everyone,

Time to stick my head out of my cocoon and say hello to all you wonderful folks. This is the first time I've logged in for a very long time, so if you sent me a private message I haven't read any yet.

Tomorrow will be two months since my husband died (both full moon days). About mid-February we had driven to Chicago to stay a couple days at our youngest son's house before flying out of Midway to Ft Myers to stay with friends. The day after we got to FL, my husband didn't feel well and actually went to a doctor who treated him for a urinary infection but told him to get tests done when we got home. He never perked up and we only got back as far as Chicago to our son's house when he had a terrible attack that killed him.

I miss him very much, and now realize that he must not have felt good for a long time but ignored some of what was bothering him. Looking back, I can see why he often seemed unsettled and hard to be around at times. Sure wish God had given us the wisdom to do something about it before it was too late.

Dying out of state complicates matters a bit, so I am actually still waiting on the autopsy and the final death certificate.

If life ever settles down, I might be able to start entering more than a couple contests a week. Since the beginning of the year, I've been to Naples once, Chicago three times, Des Moines three times, and am going again soon. After that I plan to stay put for a while. I have lots of yard work to do but I plan to get someone to cut grass. That's one job I wouldn't even attempt trying to do.

I'll try to stop by again soon.

I'm very happy about this win, don't get me wrong, but I'm a night person and most notaries (the one in my little town is in the bank) are day people. Not much time, gotta get there early tomorrow (today). Still happy to win on this one.

If anyone did not win on Libman do not feel bad. I got my cleaning cloth yesterday and it is for their mop. I do not have their mop. I can probably use it for something else some day.

I set the alarm to get up at 2:00 am and did not not. So I left the computer on all night. We shut the hot water heater. Plumber said my timer switch is not meant to be used daily but for now it is ok. The meter reading was 8 higher than the previous night and the computer was the only thing on. Much better than when the hot water is on. Point: computers do use electricity much more than what I thought. He lowered the temperature on the water from 130 to 125 this morning. Hope it will be ok.

Talking to myself here for a while.

Just turn on the cold water side less and you will never know the difference and it will save you electric. No sense heating the water over and over again. I had a friend who would only turn on the water heater when she knew she was going to use it. She would do her dishes then take her shower and turn it back off for the day. When she did laundry she would do it right after her shower and then shut it off

I hope you are still on here. I just went to my facebook page and all the referrals, invites, etc. all say "bad request". Only a cute picture that someone sent me opened. all the ones that I could enter will not allow me to and Fiesta and jacks Links will not work either and Dasani Tea. Is it my computer today? I do not know what to do.

Before I forget, got a "winning" email. Of all things, Sam won the Kashi Organic Cereal.

LOL.... it takes more electricity to heat the whole tank of cold water than it does to maintain it at a constant temp.
