The Bruins pregame today was wickedly emotional. Amazing pre-game moment of silence with a short video honoring the victims and first responders. This was followed by the entire arena singing the National Anthem in unison. Brought tears to my eyes.

I recognize that bottle shape, label and cap, it's an orange juice bottle, DH gets those single serving bottles when we're on road trips. And do you really think the guy who put together the bomb would do so there on site or carry his left over BB's and pellets in plain sight?

Do you really think people who plant bombs in crowds think logically? I agree that they are probably wrong about the BBs, but there's no denying the other stuff. And who is going to think anything about BBs in crowd?

That's definitely an Orange Juice bottle. It doesn't even look like the alleged airsoft pellet canister.

Also, you have to be a pretty stupid terrorist if you're going to use Airsoft BB's in an attack.

What terrorist is going to have them proudly displayed for all to see?

The other thing is too thin to be a box of Crossman BBs, which I've used before, BTW. However the thing in the pic does look exactly like the Keleenex slim pack tissues, that we also carry on trips and when we're out walking around an event, like a marathon.

(note: there's a bunch of different cover styles, not just the three on that link)

Iagree with both. the pics are from conspiracy theorists who are trying to paint a picture. However, the FBI is now looking for these guys because of the fact that they left their packs behind, and the black pack has been identified as the pack that held one of the bombs.

The problem with conspiracy theorists is that they will shape anything to fit their theory whether it fits or not. The problem with skeptics is that they use the things that don't fit to discredit them and dismiss the facts that do.

Link to a credible source? Or did you get that "info" from the conspiracy theorists too?

Is that a bottle of orange juice in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?

And nobody loads a bomb on site.

I saw this and thought it was good to post. Thread might need a little uplifting.

"Terrorists do not pose an existential threat to American society. They cannot win this fight by any logical metric. At best, they can achieve a psychological goal, of getting into our heads, making us fearful. But over time we learn to control our fears and adjust our expectations, recognizing that we are not invulnerable. First we have to get up off the pavement, like that 78-year-old Boston runner, Bill Iffrig, the one who crumpled when hit by the shock wave of the explosion just a few yards from the finish line. He's the man in the now-iconic photograph of the three police officers springing into action with an older man – Iffrig – on the pavement, facing away from the camera. Iffrig was on TV Monday night, describing what happened, his tone remarkably matter-of-fact:

"Everybody else is out there having fun and you got one or two people trying to destroy the whole thing, it's hard to figure out. Terrorists, whatever they are…. I don't have much use for it." This is why terrorists won't win: Too many American like Bill Iffrig, who, when they get knocked down, get right back up again.

And yes, he finished the race"

^This^ This is why we have been at the top of the heap. I'm afraid that we are losing the spirit embodied in Mr. Iffrig. I hope I'm wrong. It's just a shame that it takes these sort of mind blowing acts of terror for everyone to wake up and realize what we have and how easy it would be to lose.
