Despite the sleight, I appreciate your vigilance, fruitdog. You're not far off on the guess anyhow. I've been off and on about providing an explanation, but my slightly wounded ego demanded a response.
Here it is:
"Yes, I know most of the new users on this thread IRL. No, I have not asked them to fluff up a giveaway." Thanks for the info portion of your reply, though. I'm an admittedly (and evidently) novice user myself. It's nice to think most people are digging deep into the contest pages.
