I have to start Knowledge Transfer sessions again next week, with the overseas consultants who are going to replace me. It wouldn't be so terrible, if they would just mute the farking speaker phones so there's no "around-the-world" delay/echo while I'm talking.

Your response, dear Picca, is warmly received. My employer will keep me, but my current client will quite regret my absence, after these goofballs take over. The application I manage is so cantankerous, the new wonks will either get mad and crazy, or quit sooner rather than later. Either way, my client loses. And that's what they deserve, honestly.

So, they're gonna replace this single-frog with four of their "insourcing" consultants. Guess how much they're gonna save on consulting expenses. Zero. Zip. Zilch. The square root of sweet fark all. It's gonna cost them MORE, and the new wonks are going to foul up so terribly, it will cost them millions of dollars each month in mistakes, not to mention the customer complaints. Anyone wanna guess how happy this little frog will be to answer the phone and say "I'm sorry, I don't support that application any longer."
