Anyone know of any Applebee's deals?
I signed up for their newsletters. But, they don't send out any coupons, unlike the other places.
They do have their 2 for $20 deal though. Plus, I see I can get a $25 GC from a gas station with my fuel points.
Yeah, Chili's is nice too. I don't recall seeing a 2/$20 at Chili's. I do keep getting an email for their $35 meal deal w/ drinks. The last time I went, I had a chips/salsa coupon.
But, a group of friends is making use of a bowling deal. Surprisingly, there's only an Applebee's near-by. But, I think I'll be making use of that 2/$20 there. Oooo, I just looked. Their Spinach/Artichoke dip is most excellent.
So, it looks like I can skate on the $25 GC from the gas station. Plus, a little more for tax/tip.

I saw them in Charlotte! Best concert ever! Train was outstanding! Maroon 5 was awesome of course and Gavin Degraw was a special guest at the concert I saw! it was fantastic!

We are super excited! I'm glad to know you like the concert. We saw train about 14 years ago (can't believe it's been that long!) and they were really good then. They were back up for Collective Soul. We saw CS again earlier this summer and they rocked! We have a cool snap moving through at the end of the week and it's an outdoor arena.

I went to Applebee's last night. So-so eexperience; they made my party of six wait well over 15 minutes "so as not to overwhelm the kitchen with too many orders" even though the place had lots of open tables and really was not that busy. What irritated the group was that they could have easily seated us to get us off our feet and slowed things down, if needed, with our drinks order and various attempts to get us to order an appitizer or something. My meal was from the 500 calories or less section, and was good other than the bbq sauce that was not mentioned on menu and the black/charred tails of all my shrimp skewers. The sauce was messy and didn't go well with the island rice with pineapple that the shrimp sat on. The sauce made your fingers messy for handling the charred/burnt tails, the burned/charred portions would then come off on your fingers with the sauce, and you would have to wipe all the sauce/charred stuff on a napkin to proceed with the eating.
I liked the meal, generally, but the entire experience left me with a less than enjoyable experience except for the time spent with friends during the meal.
