No one gives a shit anymore. Everyone remembers the PEDHawk's shitty last play and how they handed the game to the Pats on a silver platter.

That's all there is to it.

Them balls giving that millimeter advantage made tons of difference. Biased, improperly performed statistical analysis says so!

Would you say that use of PEDS is considering cheating? Would it be considered worse than say spying on your opponents signals which is actually a widely used practice in all sports?

Why do you keep referring the Pats as "cheaters" when Seattle players have been suspended for PED use?

I'm not even a Pats' fan...I dislike them actually. But just give it a rest.
If everyone in all sports does it, why was it such a big deal when the Patriots were caught doing it? I call them cheaters because they cheat.
And the patriots have never had anyone use PEDs? Just give it a rest.

Quote from z2g :
Or, how about this? Would you consider it ethical or cheating if a team keeps signing short contracts for players that are released by a division rival in order to get team secrets and play info? Because, Seattle does that all the time with Niner players. They sign those players to get info from them about the Niners and then release them!.
What about Blount? Didnt they orchestrate him leaving Pittsburgh, so he could resign with the Cheaters? That ethical or cheating?

Quote from z2g :
Also, when did Lynch become the best RB in the NFL? I recall a player in Dallas having far more rushing yds this year....another in Pittsburg outrushed him too, I think. Sure, Lynch is good. But I don't recall any discussion of him being the best back all year. D Murray always took up that discussion all season.
Did someone say he was definitely the best back? Out of all the backs in the league, you list two that are "better" than Lynch. How many backs are in the league?

Quote from PaintTheSkyGrey :
1) It required more than "less than one yard".
2) If he is so guaranteed to get that "less than one yard", why wasn't he able to power through and make it that last half-yard before being stopped?
3) Why did they have to take a field goal instead of running it into the endzone?
1. How did it require " more than "less than one yard".", when the ball was inside the one yard line?
2. Because he had already gotten 4-5 yards. That was a really stupid question.
3. Already been discussed and answered. Read the thread.

Lynch was actually stopped for a one-yard gain or less four times in the game. When you get down that close to the end zone when the defense is in their goal line formation, it's usually harder to gain that 1-2 yrds.
.
So, since they needed less than one yard, whats your point? They stopped him for less than a yard only twice all game.

No doubt they are tainted. The Cheaters fans can downplay it all they want. Bottom line is there were not one but two nationally reported, legitimate times they were caught cheating. We all know Belicheat likes to play fast and loose with the rulebook, but two specific instances where the team iteself was caught breaking the NFLs rules. Not just players violating the rles. Every team has players that violate the rules with PEDs. Its idiotic to try and single one team out for that over any other. With a history like the Patriots have, it makes you wonder what else they have been up to that they havent been caught for.

Iagree There really should be an * next to their SuperBowl Champions

"You have to say this just didn't happen overnight. Who wants that shadow over them? I could be wrong. But I realize there were 12 balls deflated and 12 ain't. Then you've got [Patriots coach Bill] Belichick coming on three different times trying to explain it. ... You know something is wrong."
"If the league doesn't come down on this guy. ... Everybody is talking about it. Nobody believes it was by accident. It is what it is.

"I'm not going to take any of his Super Bowl rings away from him. But it's sad that it has to be tainted like it is right now. Hopefully they'll come out and let us know what really happened. Then all the mystery is gone."

LMAO That's hilarious

Best part though:

"The point of it all is...I don't care if you don't have to cheat to succeed. It you cheated to succeed at one point in time, that's forever your legacy."

LOL....it only took me about 10-15 mins and I kind of enjoyed it. It was interesting to see that 4 out of 5 times, Lynch was stopped either for no gain or a loss from the 1 yard line.
