Hello Loungers!

It's here! Welcome to the 90's...nope, not an LSD flashback - absence of pretty colours tells you that! Just fun, the lounge, and good times for all!

Thanks to all of you for your participation in the 80's Radio Video Hits station (thread)! You joined in to make our little radio station on the bay quite a success. Thank you!!!

A few guidelines to help you (and us) get the most from our little radio station on the bay -

K? here goes -

1) Prince. The guy that favours ass-less chaps has threatened legal action against Youtube if his videos are displayed by the service. Therefore, Youtube has removed all Prince videos, and they are not available. (Should not be) Prince has threatened legal action in the future if his videos are hosted/shown online without his specific written consent.

- There are serious legal issues involved here, and it is not in the best interests of Slick Deals that we allow any Prince videos to be posted in the Wiki. If any are found in the Wiki, they will be removed. That brings us to...

2) The Wiki. Our little radio station broke Mr. SD's Wiki the first time around, but (the all-powerful) Arj stepped in and added another Wiki for us. Way to go, Arj!

3) The Wiki. Some songs were removed from the 80's Wiki for unknown reasons. Perhaps that person simply did not like the artist/song, and did not think they belonged in the Wiki.

While technically, anyone can edit a Wiki, we think that you will agree and understand that the Wiki generated by the requests of our listeners is different. So, please do NOT remove any artist/song from the Wiki unless you are a DJ with our little station on the bay.

4) The success of our little station is thanks to our fans like you! We live for your requests, and love to fulfill them for you!

There are a couple of pointers, based on our experience from the 80's thread that will make the experience better, smoother, and easier for everybody. Such as...

- Whether your request is a 90's song or not. For the most part, we used Wikipedia to check the discography for an artist or song. That takes time, and with (sometimes) several requests that need to be validated, things really slow down.

- We want to fulfill your requests, so please help us out. If you are at all unsure, or just want/need to make sure, then verify your request yourself before you post the request. You may do so quickly and easily right here.

- Compilations. These were found to be a real time-consuming hassle, and often, highly inaccurate. Based on our 80's thread, if you want to identify the artist and song from a compilation found on Youtube, then please break it down yourself and make the requests in a post with the results. Links/requests with compilations will not be fulfilled. We just don't have the time. And verification makes it even worse, so don't forget to verify any songs that may need it to ensure the song is a 90's song!

5) Serra preserved all of the pages (the whole thread, really!) of our 80's version, and we really want to thank her!!! The 80's version would have not been the success it was without Serra. Let's have a round of applause for Serra!
