A fun little word that I've had to learn in the last week.

Guess who is going in for surgery number 13? laugh out loud
At least I think it's 13.. I kind of lost track along with body parts..but this time I get some shiny new parts added like metal cage and screws.. Whee

Anyone have experience with this? Do tell...

Might have been... had what I think was muscle cramps in my back the night before last..ice pack didn't help at all. And the location made it tricky lol either I had the back brace on over the area.. or I had to lay on my back or side..making the ice pack less effective.

Slept better last night but it's still very weird feeling like all of ones body parts are not all quite connected.
I get weird nerve tinglings, wishy-washiness, and stabs of pain at random times laugh out loud All over..

Even when I lay flat on my back I almost feel queasy as the nerves do their weirdness in waking up or re-finding routes or whatever the hell they are doing.

That's what they're doing, adjusting to their "new" surroundings. Bear with it for a few days (hopefully, not too many) and it will subside.

heh it's been 5 weeks and I think I have a few more months of this to go. It's just still weird. The better I feel in other ways the more attention I can give to this weirdness..but it's been there for the whole time. laugh out loud
I know it takes a long time..some say over a year to really feel almost normal again.

I know it will all be worth it... I'm just impatient. Stick Out Tongue

worship I've even been careful with that lately. With all of the meds my stomach has been acidity (?) I am weaning myself back into coffee though Smilie
