ok.. so the idea of a thread devoted to the epl was mentioned in the euro 2008 thread, and here it is!

use this as your place to:
  1. discuss your favorite club
  2. loathe your rivals
  3. link to match previews/highlights
  4. discuss all things from the premier league!
the euro 2008 thread was really successful (thanks, killadrilla!), so let's please keep the flaming to a minimum. i'll be copying a few links from the euro wiki as well as adding some info for a slickdeals fantasy league..

I pull for Chelsea because of Ballack. Germany got me into soccer, so I follow their captain. Very superficial, I know, but I have to start somewhere.

while ballack has seemed a loyal servant to the bloos, it's certainly no reason to root for them.. :/

Until I find a better loyalty, I'll root for them. I work with a British woman who is a pretty big Man U fan, so the rivalry is nice in office.

Are you only interested in the EPL? Because, I don't follow it. I follow the Bundesliga (Germany) and my Club is FC Bayern Muenchen (see avatar)

eh.. i thought about the other leagues. i don't see any reason why the bundesliga, serie a, ligue 1, etc. can't be discussed here, bayern. whilst we're on the topic of germany, bayern, were you happy to see that jens *finally* retired?
