This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Good for you! You have such a positive, great attitude and you do have it far tougher being a single mom than with a spouse. I don't just mean financially but sometimes it is hard for a girl to work on her own car or make some household repairs. Don't get be wrong I think woman can do things good like men, but men are generally stronger, or have stronger fix it skills. I think that is great that you can have a party for your son with the treats you have gotten deals on. I bet you are a great mom!

I also simply love your idea about complimenting a co-worker everyday. Excellent idea, and a great way to have some friends and allies on your side. Plus maybe your attitude will rub off on others. I am going to try this! Just saying something like, oh what a beautiful blouse you have on today, probably goes a long way!

What is everyone's general opinion of the Kashi products? I didn't like the cereal so much, I guess I am hooked on Chocolate honey bunches of Oats. I didn't like Honey bunches of Oats "Just Bunches" and I thought I would since I love the other. The squirrels will be happy for a few days. I guess I am cereal picky. I like Cheerios, and Honey Nut Cheerios.

I haven't opened my Kashi bars yet, but those look promising. I hope those are tasty! yummy
Thanks for the kind words. hug As for the Kashi, the cereal tasted about the same as the box it came in. vomit But, I do like the granola bars and the cookies are good too. I've also had the crackers and they're good.

:Anybody in the Anaheim area? Can you tell me some good stores to visit while I'm there... would greatly appreciate it... I don't mind going in a 25 mile radius of Disneyland... and any on the way up the I5 going back into the Sac. area...
((Hugs)) What a story about customs! I'm glad you made it through.

Here's a quick search on the Ts around DL.

http://sites.target.com/site/en/s...tid=206422

If that doesn't come up, go to the store locator and search for "Fullerton, CA" Don't search for Anaheim.

The first Target that comes up for Fullerton is right down the freeway from Disneyland and has always been one of my favorite clearance stores.

It's also conviently located next to the Disneyland outlet store, "Character Warehouse"

There's a Sonic, In & Out, Panda Express and Jack in the Box in that general shopping area, too. Also an IHOP and Ruby's Diner. I think a couple more sit down places that are not as kid friendly. I heart that shopping center! Not close to me anymore though.

The second store it lists in Fullerton, CA (Malvern address) is a Greatlands Target. Very nice and kept up but a bit out of the way.

There is a large KMart near Disneyland, I think it is on Ball Avenue.

There's a large McDs down the street from Disneyland with a giant playstructure for the kids. If you have a GPS search for it. There's also a whole row of fast food restaurants as you leave Dland and drive down the street towards the 57.

There's a really good Goodwill in Fullerton not too far far from the Target, too.

Does anybody need the Walgreen's Children's Pharmacy coupons? It may take me a while to mail them out but they WILL get out to you. I have a few left. Just PM me Smilie Bad cashier last time took one of the Huggies Qs away so I am keeping extras for that Q...but if you don't need Huggies I could just take that one out!

HaHa - I thought the same thing about the crackers. They had TLC listed on the box and we decided that that stood for Taste Like Cardboard (Crap). I couldn't even bring myself to do the Kashi Deal, I have tried a lot of their stuff, most is ok, but the cereal and crackers are awful.

Also, they were marking down the school supplies to 75% off today (just skipped right over the 50% off). they had post its - .54?, purell hand sanitizer 3 pk .64, and crayola color wonder sets for $1.24. The bookbags, lunchboxes and binders still at 30%.

lol as long as it made ya laugh. It is gross. This sneaky little kid gets into all kinds of things.....I had used that glade carpet sprinkle stuff on the carpet in my bedroom last night, got distracted left it sitting on the dresser...go in the bedroom today and the WHOLE thing is dumped on the carpet.

Oh and another gross but funny story. I walk into the bathroom and there is poop on the floor, the reg. toilet and her potty chair. Obviously she was trying to use the bathroom and missed lol. We have been encouraging her to go sit in the bathroom and this is a big step for her so as gross as it was to clean up, I'm super proud of her effort lol.

She's a very sneak kid. We had fridge locks, she got around those, cabinet locks etc....

thankfully she hasn't figured out the door handle covers otherwise she would be out roaming the neighborhood. She is what you would call very strong willed and independent lol

My favorite kashi is the waffles. I've been getting them at our dillons (kroger) for around 2.69, and the 2.00 coupons work just fine for them. The blueberry are great and the regular ones just fine.
